Vineyard Wine CellarsOur newest project is a beautiful wine wall niche, for wine collectors in Keller, Texas. The custom wine racking system utilizes metal vertical supports mounted floor to ceiling with horizontal metal storage rods. With a capacity of just over 470 wine bottles, this system features mixed display styles including 3-bottle deep, label-forward wine racks, angled display rows, and u-shelves for bulk storage.
Additional elements include a stemware holder above a pouring station. The wine rack finishes are satin black anodized posts and parallel rods with black stained walnut rod brackets. The custom insulated, tempered glass enclosure has 3 sets of doors, with matte black hardware, allowing access to the reach-in space. Dimmable LED lighting in the ceiling provides ambiance while the LED lighting strips behind the stemware highlight the pouring station.
The wine racks stand off the back wall making room for stone that adds texture to the space. This wine wall niche is a focal point of this beautiful home and is a perfect example of form and function.
Vintage CellarsThis Modern Glass front wine cellar sits beautifully within the main dining room in this gorgeous home in Tarzana, Los Angeles, California. Melding the modern and traditional styles, this contemporary custom wine cellar exudes elegance, yet simplicity - on display for everyone to notice and celebrate.
In the middle sit the glass entrance doors, enclosed within a floor to ceiling entire glass front. The upper section of this sleek modern wine cellar is comprised of horizontal metal wine racks / metal wine racking to showcase the most prized individual bottles and their respective labels.
Directly underneath, wine bottles are placed in metal shelf style cradles, butt down and angled in a high reveal display fashion. This section is perfect for showcasing verticals of your favorite wineries and vintages.
Above the racking lies the cooling system - recessed into the ceiling to minimize visibility. This split cooling system was utilized so that the condensing unit could be placed outside of the house, away from main living quarters. Kessick Wine Storage Systems
`Elevate' is a unique wine display and storage racking system that creates a highly aesthetic presentation of wine. Bottle cradles are suspended by stainless steel rods to present wine in a stunning format. The stainless steel rods are engineered to span vertically between a soffit and base unit that provide structure and house the LED display lighting. The 'Elevate' bottle cradles snap into place, creating an easy to install and modify one-of-a-kind wine display. A variety of mediums can be used for the bottle cradles and structural elements including wood, metal, glass, acrylics and more. Wood options include a variety of species import, domestic and exotic, stains and finishes.
E. F. San JuanA Window to the World

Working with Hufham Farris Construction and architect Eric Watson on this beautiful and unique Alys Beach residence, we supplied a custom E. F. San Juan front entry door, custom interior windows for the wine cellar, custom exterior gates, exterior railings, exterior paneling and trim, and the magnificent Loewen® windows and doors that make a statement the moment you see the home.
Challenges:
Due to our limited production capacity in the wake of Hurricane Michael, providing custom millwork for this home was challenging, but our team was happy and proud to return to work after such a disaster. The primary challenge on this gorgeous 5,050-plus-square-foot residence designed by Eric Watson was the vaulted two-story wall of windows that comprises most of the facade.
Another feature of this home is the incredible 600-bottle wine cellar on the first floor. Watson wanted this amenity to be a focal point for residents and guests, with large glass windows looking into the cellar from a hallway at the front of the house. Due to the delicate nature of wine and the need to protect the bottles from sunlight, this meant creating custom windows that would block the light while still allowing a view of the cellar from the outside. E. F. San Juan provided these custom windows that filter UV light and are airtight to keep out moisture and regulate the cellar’s temperature.
Solution:
We worked closely with our trusted partners at Loewen to supply the large, impact-rated windows for the home’s grand facade and throughout the property, along with exterior doors leading to the courtyard, balconies, and other outdoor living spaces. The E. F. San Juan team also created the accompanying millwork and matching exterior trim, railings, and more.
Providing privacy, security, and beauty, the front entry door and driveway gates were also made by E. F. San Juan. This new-build home, completed in 2020, exudes the quintessential luxury and unique design acumen of Alys Beach. It was recently sold by agent Matt McGuire of Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty for $7.2 million—a record-breaking sale for residences north of Scenic Highway 30-A in the coastal South Walton area of Northwest Florida.
E. F. San Juan is proud to be part of the talented team that created such a standout property in the affluent community of Alys Beach.
