Contemporary family garden in Knebworth
This garden had plenty of functions to fulfil; a large seating area close to the house for dining and a further "chill out" space at the end of the garden where a fire pit can be enjoyed. An open oak pergola defines the relaxed seating area and planting was introduced in the gravel.
A contemporary style home office was installed at the end of the garden and a dog leg brick edge shingle path leads back to the slightly raised hardwood deck. Planting along the pathway is bold with clipped box balls whilst the rest of the garden is planted with a variety of mixed shrubs and perennials to provide plenty of year round colour and interest.
