This was a project for a child's bedroom which created a raised bed platform with desk space and a wardrobe with drawers below. The steps up to the bed double up as storage boxes which let daylight through to the desk area. The desk can be folded up and there is space for an additional mattress below for occasional sleepovers. The ballustrade in front of the window was formed with stainless steel wire strung between timber posts. There is additional drawer storage below the steps.
