Birch and walnut hallway units with matching walnut mirror
We created a collection of seven integrated pieces for this new-build apartment. The brief was to design and make furniture for storage and display that tied together the long hallway and main living space; contemporary in style whilst bringing some warmth to the bare white spaces. Each piece is made from black walnut and birch ply, using the contrasting tones in different configurations according to its function and location.
This area of the project includes a hall unit for coats, bags, boots and dog stuff; a long low unit with pull out boxes for kid’s sports gear and cupboards for work files
