We can't find anyone to fit our Pando flush-ceiiling extractor

We purchased a large (1900mm) flush ceiling extractor fan for our new kitchen from Pando, the Spanish premium brand. Looks good - trouble is the four fixings supplied which theoretically fix vertically into the ceiling are simply not strong enough to hold the very heavy unit up! My husband is a builder and has spent many hours trying to figure how to sort this and we tried unsuccessfully with the four fixings - came out leaving us to hold the unit whilst standing on the kitchen island!
Any6one with experience of fitting these out there? PLEASE HELP US - this was an expensive purchase and would look so good if it could be fixed! (Granite fitters arriving this week so needs to go in now or never!)

    If the supplied fittings can't support the weight of the fan, that is bizarre. How did you make that determination? What assumptions did you make? Did the mfr give requirements for support? I'd call the manufacturer's rep right away and get him/her onsite if at all possible. Second choice is whoever you bought it from....they should be willing to support. Perhaps there is a misunderstanding with what goes where.

    But if your husband is a builder and can't figure this out, how could anyone else? Some kind of super builder with super powers? Bottom line, get Pando to own this and walk you through it.
