    I've posted this on Houzz before, but enjoy sharing it. My brother and I made this dog house for my mom's two dogs. It has an opening on both ends, to act as a pass-through to the doggie door into the main house. In bad weather, the dogs enjoy sitting outside in the shelter. A carpet on the inside helps keep a little bit of the dirt out of the main house.

      I've never had an outdoor dog house, but would love to build a little dog house like some of these.

      It doesn't look good! The kennel is very cosy inside and is in fact under cover. The 2 dogs are lovely and in very good condition. The only alternative is leaving them at home on their own so Simon brings them to work and regularly exercises them during the day.
