What to put on my walls in living room?

Kylie N
hace 5 años
Hi
I need advice on what to put on the wall in my living room.

I like Australian coastal style.

Not sure of the size of artwork, how many prints or textural pieces and if I should treat the wall as separate areas (one area above the lounge and the other area between the lounge and the window).

Length of wall from back of lounge is 4950
Back of lounge to end of chaise is 2100

Also note, we are planning a built in study area behind the lounge with hafale doors.
TV will go in the wall and current TV cabinet will be removed.
Thank you!

Thank you Julie, appreciate you posting some images and your feedback. The white framed artwork is stunning, do you know where it is from?

    Hi Kylie,
Gorgeous isn’t it, try Z Gallerie, they have some beautiful items on their site, this one is listed with a gold frame, I am sure it’s available in a frame of your choice, love the white.

Can only agree with julie herbert - a single oversized piece would be perfect for your lovely contemporary space.

We create all our artworks bespoke, in the dimensions best suited to your space, and specialise in oversized - feel free to see whether there is something within our online gallery that resonates with you.

    Following your minimal inclination...

What a fabulous wall space! For me I agree with Julie, one large scale hero piece would look amazing here, particularly in your favourite theme.

    Hi Kylie!

Megan from Bluethumb Online Art Gallery here. I agree with what has been said above by Kylie Fogarty and others that a large signature piece would look great. It would create such an impact on the room!

We have a large selection of original artworks if you're after something a little special. I've found some large coastal artworks that I think will complement the look and colour palette you're using. See them at the curation below:

My personal favourite for a coastal look, is this artwork by Naomi Veitch: https://bluethumb.com.au/naomi-veitch/Artwork/a-slice-of-pearl-beach

I've mocked it up for you, so you can see how it would look.

I think the textural quality of this work with the neutral colour palette will really finish off your room.

Let me know if we can help you with finding the perfect piece.

    Hi Kylie

I agree with the comments above that one hero piece of artwork would really suit your space. Also, it's great to see that you have included some plants in the room. If you struggle to keep them alive (lack of time/light or temperature changes) and would really like to have a touch of evergreen in the room, my hand potted collection of designer faux plants would be ideal! have posted a couple below, but feel free to have a look at the whole range online if you like. Sing out if I can help you with any questions thanks Sally @ Lily Urban www.lilyurban.com.au
