in the fall, we repaved our patio and built a new pergola that is significantly larger than our last one. We will be staining the new pergola a dark gray when the weather turns, but our furniture looks sparse now under the larger pergola. Would love thoughts on modern design to add to existing furniture rather than buying all new. My cushions are a light beige and I bought red and white throw pillows with al different designs. I would like to get a fire table, but we have to do propane. There are some nice propane covers as an option. I would like extra seating and have been looking at little stools and poufs. I have a pic of what the area under the old pergola looked like before it rusted out and the planter boxes fell apart. help!

(26) comentariosBuenas tardes, Estoy encantada con este sorteo. Soy una apasionada de la decoración y tenia pensado ir a Casa Decor. Seguramente sera un poco tarde pero acabo de enterarme y como ponía que terminaba hoy he intentado hacer las fotos lo mas rápido posible. Cuando me encapriche de esta casa sabia que este pequeño porque no nos serviría para las reuniones de verano en familia y que con un patio grande no tenia sentido. Pero mi marido no estaba muy decidido y al tener un solo mes para mudarnos y un presupuesto ajustado tuvimos que ir a lo imprescindible. Casi un año después sigo odiando el suelo poco agradecido y la separación entre la cocina el salón y ese pequeño porche que no usamos. Sin embargo estoy un poco atascada con la planificación de la nueva distribución para abrir la cocina al salón e integrar ese porche que nos de el espacio apropiado para poner la mesa de comedor junto a la cocina. Así mismo tampoco nos ponemos de acuerdo en como cambiar el suelo, teniendo en cuenta que vivimos aquí y con una niña pequeña. Os adjunto algunas fotos para que os hagáis un idea de los espacios. (3) comentariosHi Cristina, your table looks very beautiful however I discourage to have such furniture at home because of the mirrors. I work as a feng shui consultant and I know that the mirrors have some kind of power and one should be very carful placing them in the house. My personal opinion is to have a mirror in the place where the mirror can´t see you while you are resting or sleeping because in long term it can have negative influence on you. The mirror was created to look at it and it shouldn´t be used extensively also because of the reflections of the light. The human eye naturally is used to see the light coming from certain directions, if it comes from the direction which is not used to the light, especially artificial one, it may effect your vision or have negative influence on your mood. I'm talking about something very subtle which sometimes may be felt after some time. Another thing is that I always encourage people to don´t use repetitive patterns in the house just simple irregular forms and calm and worm colours which make the space more cozy and more natural. Si no te obstinas por poner fotos tuyas variadas y pequeñás, puedes encargar un vinilo autadhesivo, con una imagen de la más alta definición, que haga tu instrumento, o comprar alguna en un banco de imágenes. Procuras que la parte alta izquierda sea lo más neutra posible y pegas la imagen sobre el paramento completo, incluso sobre el frente del split. hace 6 añosAlthough it is a much larger investment than you mentioned wanting to make, this space looks the perfect foundation for an outdoor kitchen. You could install a simple 7-foot island (like the one pictured) so you can grill out and enjoy it under your beautiful pergola! If the pergola is sound enough, you could also consider hanging a nice swing to match your existing furniture?
