Think the extension needs to be brick, as the wood cladding looks too much of a contrast to the existing house.

How much higher is the extension than the existing roof high points ? Might just be the drawing, but it looks disproportionately big.

    The elevations will clarify the roofline - it's not that much higher (just as drawn as per the earlier sketch drawing where you selected the redline option for the roof design). The perspective makes it look higher as it is closer to the 'wide angle lens' of the camera match. If you want the finishes now to be brick rather than cladding that can be changed before we submit to planning submission.
