headboard

I have a queen size headboard on a full size bed. It sticks out to much for my taste. How do I make the best of it?

    Try custom side tables that sit close to the bed on either side. At the right height they can hide the excess headboard a bit.

    Thank you. I will experiment with it while at the same time keeping an eye out for a full size headboard. Who knew a few inches makes such a difference !!

    How about really fluffy bedding that will cover up those extra inches on either side?

    ... also bedskirt if ruffled can add tiny bit of width. I have this and it's ok.

    The bedding is quite opulent but will experiment with the skirt...many thanks to all !!

    A custom skirt could be very full, a nice look! which adds more if wall-to-wall, imo.

    Thanks I will have a look at it. They say the difference is 3 inches on each side but it looks more like 5 or 6 on each side which is very significant. However will give the look a try before ditching the headboard
