Creating a grand and stately entrance

Hello Houzz Community,

We were asked to transform and landscape this front yard
with the intention of making a roundabout driveway. This called for a complete re-design of the existing space and a removal of the whole front yard.


It was challenging
due to the berms and hills which meant that the driveway had to be
flattened. However, we were able to do
the hardscaping and balance the green space with raised planters and trees and garden
beds lining the driveway, while still maintaining a large grass area and making
the driveway space more functional. What
a grand entrance to welcome you home!

      excellent execution, not a fan of the design. the center is too small (because the front yard is too small) and results in a lot of paving.

      Like it very much as I like the brick work that follows the pavement in driveway! Also like the island in the middle of driveway and the tree and plants!
