Is the light fixture one piece, or two separate components?

Is the split downrod a separate component, and if so what is the product called? I have been looking for something similar that allowed me to choose my own fixtures, but connects them to the ceiling with a single downrod (as opposed to the multi pendant boxes where each pendant hangs by its own string).
