How did you install the wires/conduit etc for the TV on Fireplace Kit?

I live in New England and I am having an outdoor fireplace built (a kit with veneer) and thought they knew we wanted a tv on the mantle and they are not sure how to do that with the veneer (due to thickness) Ours looks like this picture with the 2 log boxes. Could you help provide options? Its the one part of the project I promised my husband he could have :(

    lfinach - Thanks for the question. It depends on the type of kit as to how the tv would install. Different kits require different installation processes. For example we sell 3 different types of fireplace kits, each which require different installation processes for installing a tv on the mantel. Have you tried contacting the place you bought the fireplace kit from? They should be able to tell you what kind of fireplace kit you bought and explain how to construct it so that you can get your tv on the mantel. We hope everything works out so your husband gets what he wanted! Let us know if you have any other questions.
