I love this staircase, how did you do them, can they handle much weight

We have a small house, we took four small rooms out of the front for living room and vaulted the ceiling and putting a loft bedroom above the kitchen and only other room in house not a lot of space for stairs these are perfect

    The stairs were custom made by our carpenter. They can handle all the weight. Underneath the stairs are built in cupboards.

    Just a followup clarification on these beautiful stairs - is it the storage cabinets (and perhaps an unseen strnger) which hold the stairs weight, and the middle stringer the cabinets, and i assume the middle timber stringer than the hold the rest of the weight?

    There is a construction underneath the stairs that hold the stairs. The cabinets don't hold the stairs weight.
