What is the material of the counter? Is it glass inside a wood frame?

    You are correct! The glass is set within the wood frame with a painted back to get the color we wanted.

      I dont know for sure but glass perched on a wood frame would get the look, its also possible the glass is on a inset painted backing in order to get whatever color you want.

      Thank you! It is a very attractive look. The sink...I looked at Crucible by Kohler, but they don't have that color. Did you also paint the sink?

      Yes, we did paint the inside of the sink to match the rest of the decor.

      How does one paint a sink? Do you have to have a specialist do it?

      We would recommend you to have a specialist do it. However, if you are pretty hands on and crafty, you could do it yourself. There are many paints out there suitable for painting tubs and sinks made of porcelain. Talk to someone at your local paint supply store or hardware store. They should be able to point you in the right direction to get exactly what you need. One more thing, absolutely follow the directions on how to apply the paint, letting it cure, and keeping up with the maintenance of the paint after applied. It will allow the product to hold up and last longer.
