Método Arquitectos

MÉTODO is an architects office founded in 2012 in New York City by Bernardo García, it is currently based in Mexico City. It was created with the believe that architects should fulfill tree basic responsibilities: towards the academia, towards the client and towards the context. With academia, the architect has the responsibility to question the ways in which we inhabit and interact with our surroundings, proposing new ideas and critical arguments to further the architectural discourse. This reflection exercise is crucial because without it architecture is reduced only to form or decoration. Nevertheless, this primary duty is subject to collaboration with the client. A strong architect-client relationship is based on trust and honesty and it is essential in order to achieve a satisfactory design within the agreed time and budget. Finally, we relieve that all new projects should contribute to its context. In other words to their existing social, historic, and environmental conditions. Projects should always complement the site and the site should always complement the project.
