“DeMichele, Inc. drastically improved our property. They installed a brick front walkway and flagstone steps (with lighting) leading to our front door. They spruced up our portico by capping the wood with siding, adding new columns and a flagstone landing. Also, Belgian blocks were installed along the edge of our driveway. Lastly they provided an excellent design plan and added all new landscaping. Everyone of the staff were wonderful to work with. Elizabeth was very patient with the millions of questions I had and very knowledgeable about the different plant options. The landscaping was done in November and Elizabeth followed up in the spring to make sure all of the plants survived the winter. The crew that did the work, led by Thomas (accent over the a?) were very friendly and did a great job. We are very happy with the final result and would definitely recommend DeMichele. “Garden Architecture worked with my wife and I to redesign everything outside the walls of our house. The work included a driveway, walks, two entrances, patio, pond, firepit, retaining walls, stormwater management (two rain gardens and an underground surge tank), site lighting and plantings. I am an architect so brought some of my own ideas to the project, good and bad. Kirsten was a great collaborator and a delight to work with. She is knowledgeable about the technical aspects of the work and a creative designer, for our project doing everything from addressing tricky grading and drainage problems to creating a beautiful environment in which we now happily spend as much time as possible.”

“We are more than pleased with the work Martin did for us. We had just added a circular driveway to the front of the house and had 3 areas that required landscaping. I had a few ideas but I’ve never had a green thumb so wanted to get professional help. He responded quickly and was able to come by the next day. He not only listened to my ideas but helped expand them. He also was able to evaluate the soil and gave recommendations to improve it that we still use annually. “Where to begin? That was our dilemma. We had been in our home for 30 years and had a long list of items that needed to be addressed. Most of our mature trees had recently been taken out, but we still had a tremendous amount of existing plants in our backyard. We had a vision, but didn't know how to bring it to life. Have you ever visited your friendly garden center in an attempt to gain advice? You bring home the "perfect plants" and put them in the ground, only to find yourself digging them out several years later? That was our experience, over and over again. We realized that we needed someone to listen to our vision and help us put the pieces in place. We were introduced to Bill Tamburro. He listened, really listened to what my husband and I wanted to accomplish. Planting a privacy screen with evergreens across the back of our property was our first priority. Low maintenance and less money spent on mulch was our second and third priority. Because we love to "collect" roses, peonies, hydrangeas, etc., a beautiful flow and design, that would accommodate all of our favorites was also important to us. Bill delivered on every element. He drew up a workable plan for our sloped backyard which eased the chore of mowing a steep bank. Bill also helped us choose the correct trees, evergreens, perennials and groundcovers to fit the space and keep maintenance to a minimum. Most importantly, Bill designed a framework with boundaries which gives our gardens a cohesive look for timeless beauty. The professional, expert advice we received was well worth the time and investment we made. We would like to work with Bill again next year when we redo the landscaping in our front yard.”
