“We have used Sneed's Landscape design and implementation services for several paving projects and for a majoy redesign of our driveway and street entrance to the driveway. Tim Krueger's designs were extremely good for our applications and the actual installations went very well and timely. His work crews were very good, professional, and very easy to communicate with. Tim was very thorough monitoring the projects to make certain everything was going per plan as well making any small adjustments as necessary to follow the shape of the land and visual effects. Tim and his crews always listened to our questions and provided good responses to them and any of our concerns and needs. We have had such good success with Tim and the Sneed's team that we will use them for any future projects that we may want to accomplish.”

“Russell provided the renderings for our driveway layout. Although we haven't completed our driveway project yet, I refer to the site plan on a regular basis. She researched the proper slope, drop, utilized the survey and drew the plans exactly to scale, incorporating topography and created a landscape reference table that included our entire yard. “The Rock Creek Innovations team was fastidious and professional from the initial planning meeting to the final shovel of mulch. They turned an unleveled, unkempt yard into a gorgeous courtyard surrounded by native plants and shrubs. In addition to creating a breathtaking landscape for our renovated Museum District home, they designed and installed an underground storm water basin to capture the water from our house, providing a self watering system for grass atop the basin. Rock Creek selected a stunning stone for the walkway and worked tirelessly to ensure that the walkway was set at the proper slope for run off. The work crews were professional; polite, well groomed and knowledgable about the project. Phase 1 of our project took about three weeks to complete and I was pleasantly surprised that they cleaned up the site daily, always leaving the area as neat as possible. They showed up when they said they would, did what they promised at the cost that they predicted. We would highly recommend Rock Creek Innovations for any landscape or hardscape project.”

“I have worked with Bloomin' Gardens multiple times over the past 15 years. Kathy has advised me on the overall development of two gardens, one a suburban garden and the other is on the Mobjack Bay. She has drawn plans and supervised installations for certain phases of the projects. She has given informal plant and plan advice, as well. Kathy is creative and knowledgable. The plans she has designed and the advice she has given has withstood the test of time. She is easy to work with, quick and professional. She promptly returns telephone calls, answers questions and solves any problems that may arise. Obviously, I would highly recommend Kathy to anyone who is looking for a landscape designer.”

“My husband and I had a very clear idea of our end goal. To create a playing area, take out the hill, keeping the balls on the playing area, and add to our existing gardens. We hired Mike Hart, his workers had a lot of skill and knowledge and a great work ethic. Together we created a new playing area and garden spot. We are very pleased with how our ideas where translated and executed.”

“My wife and I had little understanding of the design process or how to stage the development of our landscape project. Mrs. Boeschenstein was very accurate in her estimate and evaluation of the scope of our endeavor and thanks to her experience guided us through this labor. She helped us understand the order in which things would proceed and recommended several contractors who proved to be very skilled and reliable. She addressed issues regarding drainage and irrigation that I hadn't even considered. She turned our pool into a remarkable living space through her beautiful design and balanced eye. Even the smallest details were not overlooked thanks to her high expectations. I simply love the terraced gardens, balance of materials (stone, wood and metal) and colorful palate of flowers and shrubs. Most importantly, she tied it all together so it is cohesive, functional and beautiful. I am so very happy with the final result.”

“A city utility project destroyed a large portion of our existing landscaping; located on a very steep slope along our entire eastern property line. We faced a massive landscaping project which needed to address not only asthetics, but also creative design to limit erosion. Fortunately, Oak Valley had been recommended by friends, and we called Bruce. Our expectations were high, but Oak Valley exceeded them in every respect. Bruce not only drafted a thoughtful and detailed plan, he really listened to us - the design and hardscape/plants we preferred, our ability (limited) as gardeners to care for the project over time, and how we use the space. He also took the time to look at our neighbors' landscaping to be sure ours would fit in - and both neighbors and strangers stop by to say how beautiful it looks. His team was amazing; they were efficient, skilled, very pleasant to work with - and left the site as clean and organized as possible at the end of every day. We had to start the project in the spring on an emergency basis; we couldn't wait for fall planting. There have been torrential downpours and a scorching summer since completion, but the slope holds firm and the landscaping is beautiful. There have been a few plant casualties, but Bruce advised at the outset that we would do a checkup in the fall to update as needed. In the interim, he has patiently and promptly answered every "How do we take care of....?" question, and has stopped by several times to check on the project. Oak Valley turned a mud pit into a unique and beautiful garden, and sudden stress into a very enjoyable experience. Like our friends, we recommend Oak Valley highly.”
