The hand crafting of the environments and scientific toys are not only beautiful and can be passed from generation to generation due to quality and timelessness, but offer an alternative and now desperately needed analogue and physical mode for learning that seems to be lost in post-generation x'ers. We have several of the games/toys/tools in our home, all kids are more fascinated with these than they are with their video games and seem to engage with them on a different level. We would love to have one of the delightful gateway cottages, which we saw in the Colorado Springs showroom; though we adults might just keep it from the kids and take it for ourselves!
