“Kasia was great at both decorating and being a general contractor at a reasonable fee. I was away during the entire project and she understood my taste (whimsy modern?) and managed to bring the project (a complete rebuilt of an 1,100sf appt) to completion with a small budget and time overrun (but I still know that she saved me quite a bit of money in many ways). She was great at communicating despite the distance and over the time-zones and at shepherding the project through Vail's permitting nightmare. Her subcontractors were honest and personable. I am delighted with the result and am glad to have had Kasia as my contractor and decorator.”

“After purchasing our new (to us) home, we knew we wanted to add back-yard access via a sliding glass door in one of the bedrooms. After closing, we contacted Great Divide Builders for a quote and a timeline. We worked out the details, and ordered the door with them. This project was small for them, but they worked us into the schedule and got it installed in less than day. Door and install are great!”

“This project was (eventually) a whole-house renovation and remodeling of this mountain second home. The "mountain contemporary" results are excellent, and have garnered many compliments. The designer's use of colors, woods, textures, light fixtures, furniture, etc. were woven together to create an inviting, relaxing, enjoyable second home.”

“We retained Col Construction to completely gut and rebuild the main living and dining areas of our home, including the kitchen, powder room, mud room, plus the heating system and exterior stone work. All work needed to commence after the summer and be completed by December 6. Bob and Rhonda worked closely with us to plan a high quality project in a cost-efficient manner. Everything was completed on time, on budget, and with excellent workmanship and attention to detail. We couldn't be happier with the results, and intend to work with them again to remodel other areas of the house commencing this Spring. We recommend Col without reservation.”

“This man is the most thoughtful contractor I have ever been around! And that is saying a lot for me, because my whole family is in construction. Truly considerate and willing to respectfully get things done! I would hands down recommend this man to anyone needing a contractor for both small and large jobs.”
