“I have known Cory since he was my neighbor in Meyers, so I knew he was an honest and responsible individual with strong skills as a builder. I met Danny when I hired them to do interior remodel work on our home and to build a us a custom gazebo. Danny too proved to be totally honest and professional. Besides this, both are hell of nice guys: if you value contractors who also feel like they are your friends, these are your guys. They installed hardwood flooring & stairs through most of our home along with other work: everything turned our splendidly. I made a sketch of a "dream" gazebo which I showed them; they created it just as I wanted, beautifully crafted and amazingly sturdy. Besides being good men and reliable (hardworking and timely) contractors they have a totally green ethic. I have the highest regard for them and their quality work.”

“The Rieks did a great job with a total gut and rebuild of our 1200 s.f. 3BR 2BA condo in Incline Village. They helped us from the start with a vision of a revised floor plan and also made themselves available to help us choose materials that met our design vision at a reasonable cost. They also handled all of the interaction with the condo association. The work itself was done at top quality levels despite the labor challenges in the Tahoe area and we have received many compliments from friends and family in the construction industry about the quality of the work. The punch list of follow up items was handled promptly and efficiently. The project came in near the estimated budget cost and we have been very happy with our new condo.”

“Trevor Glidden has performed two major projects for me and a master bath remodel. T J Glidden Construction has exceeded my expectations each time. Trevor, his employees and subcontractors have always been professional and polite ( our grandkids were often with us). He worked incredibly well with our architects and interior designers and kept the integrity and feeling of our over 100 year young Tahoe Home. Trevor completed the projects on time and on budget. I highly recommend T J Glidden Construction in all regards. Now the third major remodel interior and exterior to our Beautiful Old Home on Lake Tahoe which was originally surrounded by 25 acres of land and accessed by horse and buggy. His skill in maintaining our home’s antique quality while updating all mechanical and physical quality has been superb. We recommend TJGlidden Construction at the highest in all facets!”

“I have used Adam for three jobs now. Once, as President of an HOA, where an exterior wall needed replacement. One of the unit owners was a highly respected and demanding architect; Adam was the first contractor who satisfied him. We then used him for a bathroom remodel, which was an infinitely better experience in terms of budget overruns, fit and finish, service and timelines to our previous bathroom remodels. Having watched too many episodes of HGTV, we bought a fixer. Adam looked it over with us, and then proceeded to over deliver on expectations every step of the way. Adam is sort of like a combination of Nordstroms and Holmes of Holmes on Homes. Any problems that you, the customer, has, he will fix. And there will be no bogus shortcut code violation techniques, not ever. His subcontractors are premium, and he knows when and how to keep in touch both personally and online. His budgets are realistic, and change orders are transparent and timely. He provides design guidance, but listens carefully to owner design choices. Things always hit glitches, but I did not worry about them. They always got resolved. If you want a cheap contractor to do things without permits, look elsewhere. If you are looking for availability in a top of the line contractor, I would check Throne Builders out.”

“In February 2023 I took 3 bids to tear down an old redwood deck and replace it with a Trex deck. I chose Rob Kurk Construction. His bid was very competitive. He had excellent references, great communication skills, he is professional and easy to talk with. He has good listening skills and responsive to my requests or changes. Rob and his crew built a beautiful 12'x80' Trex deck with iron railings and three flights of steps in the amount of time and price Rob had originally stated.
