Starting with an neglected bldg and restoring it to its magnificent state required many, many problem solving tasks. Responsive to our limited budget, Albert and his crew were simply wonderful to work closely on doing the right things. This building, one of the best in our small town, is a wonder to behold in no small part becuase of what Albert brought to the project. I have heard such horror storeis about other people's renovation jobs. Mine has been better than I could have imagined. I had the floor in the great room replaced with bamboo throughout rather than the rug and tile that was there. The propane fireplace was installed, along with the skylight; the entire room painted to lighten up the existing tongue and groove ceiling and walls. The existing fan was replaced with a new modern one. I am delighted with the results and highly recommend Larry's services.”

“We had used Jay Rhind's services in 2005-7 when we purchased an old house in need of complete renovation. Jay Rhind Builders were recommended to us, and we used their services for the entire job. The project continued over a period of more than a year as there was much reconstruction and internal remodeling to be completed.
Jay's team were exceptional and did a wonderful job. We could not be happier with the finished product. The work ranged from designing and building a complete custom kitchen, reconstructing window frames modeled on the old traditional frames (the originals sadly were rotted through), three full and two half new bathrooms including new plumbing and wonderful tiling, major repairs to ceilings and floors, reconstruction of the sun room and another 1930's addition. You name it, it had to be done in this beautiful old house. Jay Rhind's team also constructed a beautiful new 1000 sq ft deck on our first floor.
When the time came in 2010 to put an addition onto the other building in our grounds (a separate cottage), and add a two car garage, we did not hesitate to go back to Jay Rhind. The designs were wonderful, the finished addition was just what we had pictured and totally in keeping with the style of the original building.
His crew are wonderful, respectful and considerate.”
