“What they did was beyond our expectation.They spent a lot of time on truly understanding our lifestyle and needs, and introduced the “aging-in-place” concept. The scheme looks beautiful, detailed, and innovative.They did a good job on bringing out the potential of our house, which has great views to the lake. The new great room looks spacious and full of natural light. As their concept proposed, it will be vacation at home for us. Yang and Suping are delightful to work with. They are good at communicating their design. Since I’m not familiar with reading drawings, they used 3d models/images to help me understand, even a VR glass to help me visualize the rooms.”

“We hired Allan Phillips to help us draw up a needed addition on a property we were purchasing, and he took our ideas and desires and put them down on paper turning them into a great possibility that complimented the existing home beautifully, and included ALL of what we needed plus some! We would definitely recommend him and his company to anyone in need of architectural services.”

“Bob designed our home. After 10 years I still love it and can't imagine living any where else. He turned our 1960 Tri-level into an open , full of character timeless home. His vision was unbelievable . The roof was taken off and we have an upper deck off our bedroom. We have vaulted ceilings, mahogany alcove bench in bedroom too. I could only load 4 pictures so I did one wall of the kitchen, the stone fireplace in family room open to kitchen, the hallway and sinks in master bathroom. Even though it cost a little over $100,000, the value increased over $200,000. I don't have a McMansion looking house like all others with no hardwood on 2nd floor and no laminate and vinyl cheap stuff.Please forgive the mess and lack of decorating skill,but here are some pictures.”

“Skip and Matt designed our new home, which is nearing completion. We are new to this, having never built before. We wanted to select both an architect and a builder who could bring our ideas to life, while at the same time adding their own creative vision and expertise. Skip and Matt exceeded our expectations. Easy to say, but what I mean specifically is: - They are truly collaborative. We provided dozens of pictures, ideas, materials, must-haves, must-not-haves...you name it. The very first set of drawings that came from this collaboration was so close to the vision we had, even though we couldn't articulate it at the time. - They are incredibly hard -working. They take pride in what they do, and will keep working at even the smallest detail until we are all satisfied. - They really listen, and this is reflected in the questions they ask and the ideas they delivered. - They worked very well with our builder. This is so important, and we feel we have a home that reflects two sets of great expertise...Island's and our builders.”

“We were contacted within two days of inquiry, and owner was out to the house within two days (arrived at 6 PM to accommodate our schedule). Irrigation problems and solutions were quickly studied, watched and identified. Moving to outdoor lighting, our issues and preferences were listened to and then suggestions made for various results and costs were given. The bid came in quickly, and was very detailed and thorough. It was broken into four projects so that we could decide and prioritize. Start and completion times were specified. Waiting for the project to be completed now, but our experience with this company to this point in the project has been exceptional. Neat, professional, communicative, and on time. Great eye for maximum benefit for best price. We are very happy to have found this service after struggling with local irrigation companies not responding to problems and having very erratic and unresponsive seasonal turn on/off service and repairs. Past companies either did not return calls or failed to show up for an appointment. So happy with Moonlight By Design!”

“Carrie was a great resource and guide throughout our refresh and remodel process, from landscaping (she knows her plants!), to designing the remodel of a master bedroom suite, our color palette, room design, furnishings - the big picture to granular detail - she helped us wade through it all. It was particularly helpful to have her professional opinion and advocacy to ask thoughtful questions of the people we hired along the way. Similarly, it was an added boon to have an architect from their firm, Ron, to answer Qs (challenge assertions) that came up with contractors along the way. We've had friends say it's literally like we have a brand new house and it feels that way too!”
