“Kim Gilpatrick (Design Traditions) is absolutely amazing! She goes above and beyond in all she does. From the beginning of our project (building a new home) she was determined to make it uniquely ours, not a "cookie cutter" design but one created to fit our family and our needs and the vision we had of our future home. Kim spent many hours sitting on our property, sketching and designing the plans to fit the land. She took the time to get to know us and how we, as a family, lived and functioned on a daily basis - whether just us or when we entertained a small or large gathering. She began by drawing up several different "renderings" and from there we gave her our feedback and she would listen, change and create. As we worked through the design process "our home" became a reality. Kim is extremely talented and creative. She truly listened to what we wanted and researched and gathered any and all things that would help to produce the home of our dreams. She enjoys the design aspect and takes pride in designing a project that is distinctive. Once the plans were finalized, Kim didn't leave us to our own devices, but stayed with us through out the building process as well. By doing this, the integrity of the design was maintained.
