When we made the decision to tear down an old house on the property and build a new house, we needed someone who could walk us through budget, planning, design, and construction while keeping a constant eye on budget! Our project included identifying the right property, the design process (with Jay’s architect) planning the construction of a new home and pool. Working with Jay and his architect during the design process was a great experience. Jay was able to keep our design in line with our budget as he had the experience needed in estimating the construction specific to our project.
A great feature of the Grant Home build process is their open-book pricing. There was no mystery with how our money was being spent and the flexibility was there when we wanted to save budget dollars. The whole process was unexpectedly fun! “My roof was getting old and starting to leak. It looked pretty ratty and I hated seeing missing shingles. I called M&M Construction and they were able to give me a free estimate. I liked that the guy they sent out was a project manager who seemed very knowledgeable on the subject and not your average slick salesman. The price they gave me was in line with other prices I received and I decided to go with them. The workers weren't annoying, they came on time, and they did the job pretty quickly. They even cleaned up my yard at the end. Apparently these new shingles have a lifetime warranty and at least my roof looks nice again.”

“Clauss construction put an addition on each side of our lake house. On one side a sun porch with two walk in closets and a basement beneath. On the other side a garage and office on the middle level with a game room above, and a laundry room with a half bath below. New windows were added in the main house to connect the areas. We were given wonderful designs ideas, the workmen where very cooperative and treated it as they would their own house. The worksite was always clean at the end of the day so we were comfortable living through the construction. We have recommended the company and would be more than glad to do so again. We have felt comfortable calling on them when there have been other work to be done.”
