“I hired Carolina Timberworks to build 9 radius trusses for a home in 2012. I got a fast accurate and very detailed estimate of EXACTLY what was and what was not included in the price. Carolina Timberworks came out to measure once and we installed them a few weeks later. All the trusses fit perfectly and the craftsmanship was top notch. Everyone at Carolina Timberworks was friendly, helpful and easy to work with. It has been two years since the beams were installed and they are still as beautiful as ever! “We were browsing magazines for home ideas and came across a featured home on the cover which belonged to Tynecastle Builders! I searched for the contact information and luckily was greeted by Brett himself! Although we live three hours away, he was open to working with us on designing a home similar to his featured cover home. We drove to Banner Elk, NC and he graciously gave us tours of several other homes he designed and built. We instantly fell in love and each home was completely different, with amazing features and creativity. Each home had a specific theme and you could just tell they were each unique and custom. We have been working with Brett for the past two years to design our dream home and it has all come along amazingly well. We could not have asked for a better company to walk us down this journey and I couldn't have done it without him. He LISTENS to you, he always gives you ideas you could have never imagined and he gives strong feedback when you need it most and opinionated feedback when you ask (but he doesn't get his feelings hurt if you decide against his ideas.). Tynecastle Builders has a vision, these are not cookie cutter homes; these are unique, one of a kind, pieces of art that creates eye candy for every person that enters the door. He doesn't only work on the house and structure, he creates an "Experience" from the moment you turn off of the road. You enjoy each curve, turn, movement and much more. There are features in every aspect, but not too much to distract you. I can write a book about Tynecastle but I'd rather you experience it for yourself! The journey is where the fun is!”
