“What started with moving furniture and noticing a soft spot in the carpet along the edge of an outside wall and a water spot suddenly appearing in the ceiling above it with San Antonio’s heavy rains of Sept 2018 started our journey with DMJ Restorations. Sam Hoffman was extremely knowledgeable in guiding us through the insurance process and, because of his efforts, we actually received more money than we might have received otherwise. We learned a lot along the course. We have been so pleased with their entire team for a multitude of tasks they did for us – roofing, demolition, construction, sheetrock, painting and carpet installation. They were here when they said they would be, did what they said they were going to do (and then some), and cleaned up extremely well after themselves. All while respecting our home and its contents. They paid attention to all of the little details, some we wouldn’t have thought of on our own, and made sure we were satisfied from start to finish. Would we recommend them to others? YOU BET and without hesitation!”

The foundation was poured at the start of June and we moved in at the end of December. Our project manager - Jaime- worked from day 1 to stay on top of the build and ensure each step was done well. The entire process was a positive one and we believe much of that starts with the vision and work ethic of KC Custom Homes and those who work for this company. “Brad Morris of G Morris homes built an amazing specially adaptive home for my family and I. I utilize both a wheelchair and 2 full prosthetic legs with mechanical knees in this home. It must conform both to ADA and VA regulations. There were many special needs and requests that would be considered out of the ordinary for most new home construction, some were also out of the ordinary for ADA and VA requirements. Brad was always able to accommodate me; we made many changes on the fly and Brad made it all go smoothly while adhering to the building code. He was also clear with what wouldn't work, why, and would always provide an alternative solution. He made many insightful recommendations that I would have otherwise not thought of.. Brad maintained constant communication with me in every regard of the construction throughout the endeavor and always responded in a timely manner. The speed and level of efficiency that which he operates is unparalleled. That, in combination with the fluidity of operations he maintained throughout nearly seamless transitions of construction phases, enabled a rapidly built structure of fantastic quality completed both on time and under budget. Mr.Morris also demonstrated superior skill when coordinating his solid team of contractors. His careful attention to detail was not only phenomenal but paramount to his success in building this home. Brad, my fellow Marine, has created a stout family home that will stand the test of time. I intend for this home be passed on to my grandchildren and beyond. “Building a custom home can be quite overwhelming...so we were told! Decisions are endless and opinions change through the process. Our experience of building our first custom home was SO much better than what we had anticipated based on the horror stories you often hear of! Genuine Custom Homes was with us each and every step of the way and Karl was amazing to work with!!! His organization skills speak volumes for themselves. We were constantly kept in the loop of what the current status was and what we could expect to come and it was so nice to know that we had someone supervising our project who cared about our home just as much as we did! Karl was always in contact with us and set up appointments for us with his chosen professionals who already knew about our style before we even arrived to meet with them to discuss specifics. We were involved in the entire process and when we were not immediately available we had the confidence that Karl knew our goals and style well enough to make things happen as we would have them. We would absolutely recommend a Genuine Custom Home to our friends and family-- we have now been in our home for six months and from the date of move in we have not been disappointed! On top of that...Karl has been in contact occasionally to check in with us which is nice...it's not often you get taken care of after the completion of your project (sale)!”

“Nathan Murphey was the Project Manager overseeing the construction of our new custom home in Anaqua Springs Ranch completed in 2016. Nathan was professional, and we developed a good working relationship right away. Nathan followed through on his commitments and accommodated our schedule whenever we needed to meet. His attention to detail was extraordinary, and he corrected most issues before we ever noticed them. Nathan is extremely creative, and he was able to provide cost effective solutions to avoid expensive change orders. Nathan maintained a very good and trusting relationship with his sub-contractors, and he was able to get things scheduled on a time. We were very impressed with the quality of construction as well as Nathan’s meticulous attention to detail. We are very pleased with the home and enthusiastically recommend Nathan Murphey to anyone considering construction of a custom home.
