Yesterday, Joe came by to my house to take care of an emergency repair. An electrician had installed an electrical conduit above my garage door and the set screws impeded the door. Unbeknownst to me, after one week, my garage door stopped working. After texting him a picture of my door, he emailed me 3 new garage door opener options. I chose the lowest option on Wednesday for the Friday appointment. On Thursday morning, I had a change of heart and asked Joe if we could go with a higher priced option. He mentioned that he had already picked up the opener. He then called later on Thursday afternoon and told me he was able to pick up the preferred opener for me and still keep my Friday appointment. When he arrived on Friday, he checked out my existing opener. He was able to fix it! Apparently the motor jammed and he was able to correct it. We originally thought the motor had burnt out. I asked if I should change the opener anyway since it was 8 years old. He recommended against replacing it. He said the existing opener has 10-15 more years on it I asked him what I owed him for coming out. He said there was no charge. I felt bad since he had gone above and beyond what was expected and I wasn't going to be giving him any business for all his trouble. I even offered to tip him so that he could get some lunch, but he declined. I told him that I will not go to any other door contractor as long he is in business and I will refer all my friends to him.

Always great work from American Joe. This is the third time I've use American Joe, once for a basic repair, once for my father-in-law to replace a door and now to add new openers for my garage. Each and every time I have been completely satisfied. Honest pricing, fast service, absolutely the best out there. Had Steve for the latest project, replacing my two openers. He was on-time, courteous, walked me through everything, made sure I was good to go, left no mess behind, simply excellent all the way around. Highly, highly recommend this company. Thanks!

I contacted American Joe for an estimate regarding a garage door that had failed twice in a year. Joe was knowledgeable and provided an excellent comparative analysis regarding several types of garage doors. He was not the cheapest but now that the door is installed his knowledge and recommendations were spot on. I highly recommend the side mount garage door opener if your current opener is mounted under the master bedroom. Great job, Joe!

I called Joe to find out if he could service my garage door. I explained the issue and he had me text a photo of the garage opener, and diagnosed the issue over the phone, indicating how I could fix it myself. This was not a simple WD40 fix. Who provides free diagnosis anymore rather than charging a customer for an easy fix? Joe does! If it was more complicated, I would have had Joe come out. And will be using him for all my garage door needs going forward. Can't recommend this guy enough.

Wow, what a great experience. Joe fixed our garage door spring that had snapped. He even took the time to tighten bolts on other door that wasn't being repaired. Great company to work with!! Thanks.

I've used American Joe Garage Repair & Service for this past year and I couldn't be happier! I've needed to schedule an appointment twice thus far for different issues and both times my appointments were scheduled promptly. The technicians arrived on time and were courteous, friendly, very knowledgeable, helpful and honest. Prices are very reasonable and it's a great company! I'll never use another garage repair/service/replacement company! Highly recommend!!

I have used American Joe for the last few years. I am a traditionalist who values wooden garage doors. My doors are older and so occasionally need repair. He has assisted me about four times with success. American Joe repair teams are easily scheduled by emailing, texting, or calling Joe. They are always on time or call ahead and the repairs are at estimate or less. In one situation, a minor tweak eliminated a repair. When I decide to replace my wooden doors, American Joe will be the only company I will go with.

These guys are awesome. I wish Joe ran other home improvement businesses. He could certainly make a business out of training other service providers on how to run their businesses. I called up at 9:50 AM and left a voice mail indicating that I believed either a wire or sensor had been damaged for our garage door. He called me back within 10 minutes, said he'd have guys over to fix the problem (not just take a look) sometime between 11am -12pm that same day. He gave me a very reasonable quote on the phone. At 11:10am, I get a knock on the door, and the guys he sent let me know that they are "done." They had fixed the problem without me even knowing they were there. They also then stayed an extra 10 minutes to help me program 3 garage door remote controls and answer my questions about the need to potentially make some upgrades in the future. And all I was charged was the standard price for a service call and exactly as quoted. Couldn't recommend this company more highly. Wish that all businesses had the same approach to customer service and pride their work! Great job Joe. Will recommend you to everyone that I know.
