In 2014, we were looking for a unique and durable rug for our own homes, and we came across some stunning rugs made from cowhide. We were also amazed by how cowhide rugs were hypoallergenic, easy to clean, and long-lasting. We decided to order some cowhide rugs for ourselves. When we ordered these rugs from available sellers there were quality issues like balding, no padding. We decided the best way is to manufacture our own rugs. It took us another 2 years before we could get the process right. We wanted to share our new found love for cowhide patchwork rugs with others, and that's how Poshrug was born. We source our cowhide hides from the best suppliers in Brazil and India, who use ethical and sustainable practices to produce high-quality hides.
