At Advanced Flooring Services, we specialize in hardwood flooring. We, like other independent flooring contractors, do installations, sand and finishes of new and existing hardwood flooring. In some cases we provide the hardwood flooring materials but for the most part, we provide the service portion allowing for homeowners to purchase what they want, where they want. What sets AFS apart from other independent flooring contractors is the level of consultation and service we provide with our detailed estimates, consultation and guidance. We are not a flooring retail store, allowing us the flexibility to help our customers in selecting from a wide range of products, manufacturers and designs. The central goal of our consultation model is to determine the specifications required on a flooring project as well as determine design elements and budgetary constraints. As such we are a hybrid between the independent flooring contractor and the retail store with the flexibility of giving our customers the best of both worlds. We work with homeowners, general contractors, architects and designers. The breadth of our services include subfloor leveling, moisture testing, water damage repairs, refinishing of existing hardwood flooring, new flooring installation both prefinished and unfinished, decorative elements such as feature strips, inlays and custom stairs.
