We have established AAA Rug Repair to provide a comprehensive service to the retail and trade owners of fine oriental carpets and other valuable textiles. The firm was formed 4 years ago, but the principal and chief restorer, has 37 years of experience in Iran, Turkey, Italy and now New York behind him. He is a certified expert, a member of a select circle of teachers to other artisans in Iran. He also has trained the other three present highly skilled workers. AAA provides all services applicable to oriental rugs and related textiles: all types of cleaning, end securement, side replacement, repiling, reweaving of any part of the fabric (holes, ends, etc.), color matching and correction, moth proofing, for example. All our pile yarns are handspun. Besides pile carpets, our area of competence includes all types of flat-weaves (kilims, soumacs, Navajos, tapestries). No job is too small, too large or too complicated. We love and rise to challenges. When completed, our work is invisible. Pickup and delivery in the immediate area can be arranged and we make on site inspections as required. Turn around time is quick. We do not let your precious carpet sit unattended to.
