We had a mountain roof in need of replacing in the middle of winter, and Rick and his team were so impressive! Rick was so helpful and explained the whole process over the phone, and in person, and made the whole experience way less stressful that I thought it would be. And even more amazingly, he was able to get our whole roof project done quickly in between snows, as well as completing it within our very demanding timeline. His team was on the roof shoveling and melting snow and ice, so they could install the new one quickly. We couldn't be happier with how it all went. We were so pleased with how he accommodated our timeline and very happy with his communication as well. Rick Duggan does things old school yet knows new technology! He walks the talk. I learned more about roofing and gutters in one visit with Rick. I had gotten 3 other quotes and no one explained what Rick did. He did everything as promised, roof and gutters look great! Best value for such detailed and careful work. Rick is very engaging when it comes to helping you in a time of crisis. We scheduled a meeting for Rick to look at our leaky roof. He was very professional and on time for the meeting. In a matter of minutes Rick and his assistant found the leak, repaired it and we have been dry ever since. The leak Rick found was missed by the insurance adjuster. If we ever have a restoration issue come up again, Rick will be the first one I call.

When my area was hit with a bad hail storm earlier this year, I chose America's Best Restoration and General Contracting to replace the roof on my home. Rick Duggan worked with me the entire way, from roofing material selection to the final invoicing process. He and his crew were courteous and they worked diligently to complete the project with minimal interruptions to my family's routine. The new roof looks great, and I expect to get years of protection from it. Almost as important, America's Best helped me with the cryptic insurance claims and reimbursement process, being an advocate on my behalf with the insurance company. I would definitely recommend America's Best.

They were great at first. Their employee came out the day of the storm in April 2016 and the following days to check out the damage. We signed a contract with them May 10, 2016. They gave us a building permit July 06, 2016. They had originally told us that the repairs would be completed by Aug 31, 2016 and take about 1-2 days. The repairs started in October and took about a week. They left the yard and garden littered with trash and nails. The first inspection was in December, but it failed due to the work done on the flashing. I contacted their employee multiple times to ask about the repair and they never provided me with the date and time, even after completed work. same problem occurred with the second inspection after the flashing was repaired. I contacted their employee multiple times about an estimated date for the inspection, but I ended up contacting the employee on January 31, 2017 to tell him that the inspector had been by. The company left ladders attached to our house from early December to after the second inspection. This was an eyesore and our HOA complained about the ladders being up for so long. I had to contact the employee again about this problem, too. He got the ladders quickly like he said. There were problems with the checks multiple times during this process. Due to these delays, we made arrangements to have the checks picked up by the employee. This wasn’t a problem except the employee cancelled, an hour after he was supposed to have arrived and said he had a date and couldn’t make it. He was aware of our work schedules restricting us from making arrangements easily. He asked us if we could drive the check to the office, 60 miles away, since we weren’t able to schedule easily and also due to his laziness to drive to us, in his company car. It was difficult to get a hold of or a call back from the employee. His manager had no idea about this and called us liars. The employee called us liars, the exact phrasing was “it’s obvious that you have lied to us,” for not having the last check ready on demand. He had been contacted prior to this and told that we had to wait 90 days to cancel and have the check re-issued. The employee and manager both said it was “hard to believe” that the company wouldn’t re-issue the check immediately, because it has never been an issue before. We called the insurance company multiple times and talked to multiple employees to verify this 90-day restriction. Every time we called, we were told we had to wait 90 days for the check to be cancelled and re-issued. The employee also decided to come out to our home, the day after being called by us to give an update on the check, to intimidate us, call us liars, and try and get into a verbal argument. I had to raise my voice and tell him to stop talking and to let me finish what I was trying to say to him. He became very timid when I would not let him push me around or allow him to interrupt and talk over me. I was able to finally tell him what had been told before: the insurance company wouldn’t issue the check until 90-days passed and it could be cancelled and re-issued. We were getting the money to them, and he didn’t need to keep telling me about it, and he didn’t need to be confrontational over the matter. The owner, Rick Duggan, was contacted about his employee’s actions. He tried to defend the employee’s actions and never once offered an apology. He did try to provide excuses. We told them they could call the insurance company if they wanted proof of what the insurance company was telling us. Their motto: “You are going to love the way we do business!” is on their website and I can tell you right now their way of doing business is a joke and a nightmare. I don't expect to have everything done quickly, but 8 months is absolutely ridiculous. I would never ever recommend this company to my friends or my family. The owner, Rick Duggan, and the employee, Daniel Wolff, will never be welcomed on our property. This was the most stressful experience I have ever dealt with as a homeowner. April 2016: storm and checked the damages. May 10, 2016: Signed contract July 6, 2016: Building permit given to us August 31, 2016: Tentative completion date October 2016: Roof repairs begin and took a week of off and on work December 2016: First inspection, failed January 2017: Repairs to the flashing that failed inspection January 31, 2017: Second inspection, passed

My husband and I were extremely satisfied, from the video presentation, which was very helpful and informative, to the completion of the job. The company was great because they did the work in a timely manner, they worked well with our insurance company, they were fair in their pricing, and they did an excellent job with our roof. We liked that the owner, Rick Duggan, visited the site several times during the process, as well as the Manager, Daniel Wolff. We would gladly recommend them to others.
