Katie Fitzgerald has done two projects for us in our home. With each project she helped tremendously in guiding us in color and ideas. The sample boards she provided were very helpful in seeing what the finished project would look like. Katie gave creative and constructive ideas that helped us customize the designs for what we were looking for. She is professional, works within budget and thorough in her work. Working with Katie was an amazing experience that I would encourage others to have. Her workmanship is incredible. The entire process from start to finish was fun and fascinating. Who knew that watching paint dry could be so interesting. The work she did on our wall was quite a process as she first put on a layer of primer, painted the metallic finish, covered that with a layer of "special goo", then put the plaster like finish on top of that the crackles as it dries. It was amazing to watch happen before our very eyes. When that was completely dry she put on glaze that really made the entire wall pop! Katie is also a consummate professional, she set everything up neatly and with as little intrusion or interruption as possible. When the project was complete she also did an excellent job cleaning everything up and restoring our work space. She was also very personable and yet respectful of not interfering with our work flow while she worked. From beginning to end it was great experience. our work space was transformed into a real work of art and our customers and visitors LOVE it too! On a scale of one to five, I'd give working with Katie a 10!

Katie recently performed a magical transformation of my entire bedroom set, taking it from out-dated to WOW! From our first conversation to the end of the project, Katie was professional and friendly. Prior to our first meeting she asked me lots of questions about what I had and what I wanted. At our first meeting she had a professional portfolio of her work along with some ideas on her computer of what she thought might work for this project. She instantly "got" me and my decorating vibe (if it could even be called that) - colorful, a little quirky, and fun. She was able to translate through my hand-waving and obscure descriptions of what I thought I wanted to come up with a wonderful design and color combination; she listened to me even though I really didn't know how to describe the vision in my head. Two of the pieces went to her studio to be redone. I received step by step pictures along the way so I could see the progress. She even put up with my panicky "OMG do you think it's REALLY going to look good? Do you think we should make changes?" The last two (largest) pieces were fnished in my home with no fuss and no muss. The only way I could tell she had even been there during the day (while I was at work) was to see the progress made. I am beyond delighted with the finished product. This is a 25+ year old Thomasville bedroom set - very good quality. You cannot buy this kind of quality furniture anymore; it looks like a completely new, contemporary set now, while still maintaining the integrity of the style of the pieces. Katie absolutely delivered the vision I had. I wish I had more projects for Katie at my house!
