After Declutter

A few months ago, I joined my organization, The Reading Team, as its new Executive Director. Our primary site location in Harlem is a 5000 square feet office with sectional classrooms for K-5th grades. We've been there for nearly 20 years. As a result, we accumulated lots of "stuff" in our supply room. We hired After Declutter to help us reorganize the space to make it more functional. Since having children, my home has really started to get very cluttered and extremely messy. It was hard for me to take the step of seeking professional help and I was nervous about the help but Ritsuko was exactly what I needed. I had very limited time to work with and we did six days of intense declutter and organizing. I have so many favorites about Ritsuko but some of my top things were: The whole time, she was extremely patient with me. She heard all my needs and was constantly reimagining and planning to meet every single one of those needs. She understood my OCDness. She is extremely hard working and just has so much "heart," she is so easy to communicate with even after she leaves your place. An extra big plus was my children loved having her around as she is so sweet to them. The areas Ritsuko clean up gives me great joy now and I will be hiring her again to do new areas.

She has made our lives so much better and made our home a comforting, warm and calming place. I feel so grateful for all of her help -- we will use her for every project in the future!!

I am so happy with the professional decluttering and organizing done by After Declutter. My bedroom was bare-bones and had a lot of stuff sitting around in places it didn't belong. After Declutter helped me to rearrange my closets to fit a lot more stuff in, while also helping me to get rid of things through resale. Also, I had never had any window treatments on my large bedroom windows, and After Declutter asked me what I would like to have, and then had bespoke curtains made at a very reasonable price. I used this company when I moved to a new apartment. At first, she asked me what kind of room image I wanted to have. Then, she found the furniture, kitchen tools, and pictures, and coordinated my apartment exactly what I wanted. It was very helpful for me who is really busy and have no time to research and go shopping. She researched every thing for me and gave me some options. All I needed to do was just choosing something I like from the options. That made my moving process much easier and I have an ideal and comfortable apartment now.
