Over the past few years we have had renovation work done on two houses. Our experience with contractors has been somewhat mixed, with a number of issues with either cost, surprises or quality of work. After our past experiences, when our house needed re-siding we did much researching on various siding companies, obtaining multiple quotes, and discussing options and requirements with various contractors. After considering all our options we selected West Coast Barrier to re-side our home, and work began mid-October and completed in early December. Our experience with Tyler and West Coast Barrier has been extremely positive. Tyler is extremely knowledgeable, and provided us with various siding options, and alternatives to both meet our requirements, and manage the overall project cost to our budget. Further, during the project we decided to change the look of the front section of the house by replacing the windows. Tyler provided suggestions that were both budget conscious and improved the look of the finished house. Tyler and his crew were extremely knowledgeable on installation methods, the building code requirements, and on how the finished product would look. The quality of the work was top-notch, Jamie & crew were great and extremely helpful, with the work done in a timely and efficient manner. From the initial customer visit to project completion, Tyler was in continual contact regarding status, issues, cost, and timing, never leaving us wondering where things stood or what what happening, and most importantly, no surprises. To anyone considering re-siding their home, or needing siding repair, I highly recommend you contact Tyler and West Coast Barrier before making any decisions. Despite it being a big bulky job, they managed to keep it all out of the way. They were very helpful in helping s pick the various options from materials and an aesthetic standpoint.

Had these guys do Hardie board and shingle to replace the crumbling stucco on my new house. I know enough about the work they were doing to know that they didn't cut corners. The finished product looks great. The communication from the owner and crew was consistently polite & friendly. Thrilled with the results, they were not the cheapest, also not the most expensive, I felt like I paid a very reasonable price for top tier work. 100% would recommend this company to friends and family.

In short, Responsive, Fast, Honest, Extremely Knowledgeable. Tyler is an expert in his field. We are so happy we choose West Coast Barrier to work on our renovation.
