Working with Synapse Construction was a great experience from beginning to end. Our project started with a scale 3D model of the exterior house that allowed us to try out siding options and settle on a design. From there we went through budgeting and finally kicked the project off. We appreciated Kyle's no hard sell approach. Our project was very involved and I'm a demanding home owner. Synapse made sure we were happy, and not only met but exceeded my expectations. Synapse replaced the windows and siding on our house, and helped us transform it from ugly 1970's to beautiful modern contemporary northwest. I highly recommend Synapse if you have a siding and window project. The attached images don't properly capture the beauty of the job Synapse did, but they give a good idea of the change.

Kyle and the Synapse Team helped me with two projects on my homes. One was a siding and window, door casing replacement on a three story townhouse. The other involved window replacement, wall repair on another three story townhouse. Both were completed in a timely manner and with much respect to the residents living in each home. Kyle and his company workers were all so fabulous to work with! We had him out to help us with some repairs due to a leak from a bad siding install from a previous builder. He and his crew were so great we had them come back to add some beautiful rain screens to enhance the siding for our modern home. I'd hire him again in a hot second!

We hired Synapse Construction to complete the siding portion of an addition we were building for a client. They did a great job, had very good communication throughout the process and completed the job in a timely manor. I will be using them again.

I am an architect and builder who recently hired Synapse Construction to complete cedar siding, underlayment, flashings, window, and door installation for a contemporary house in North Seattle. The project proved to be challenging on many levels with some unconventional assemblies, transitions, and detailing. However, Kyle, Ever, and the Synapse Team did a great job tackling the issues and finely crafting the installation. They are knowledgeable, dependable, honest, and effectively communicated throughout the project. We hired Kyle and his team for a siding project. The process was great - Kyle was ontime for all of our meetings to discuss the project and personally came by the job site regularly to check on progress. The job site was clean and orderly and the project came in on time and budget. I couldn't be happier with the work and often have people stop and ask us about the siding and who did it. I always tell them to talk to Kyle - they won't be disappointed.

We had a great experience working with Synapse Construction to install new windows and overhaul the building envelope for an entire wall of our home. Kyle Keever was knowledgable and straightforward in presenting us with multiple options. His team at Synapse were the only folks we found able to provide the level of quality and specialized expertise necessary for a fairly complicated project. Kyle at Synapse consulted with us and our architect to help us explore our home renovation options and provided great guidance throughout the entire preliminary phase. He was excellent and thorough, timely, and really helped us decide on what the best route forward was for our old 1928 house given market limitations of our neighborhood on what would keep us upside right financially.

In 2011 Kyle and Team re-sided our 1905-vintage Capitol Hill house with red cedar sawn shingles, including window re-trimming and soffit rehabilitation. This was the best contractor experience we have, in the 35 years we've owned this house. Kyle Keever, company principal, is a true professional. - Vitaly, who did nearly all the work, was easy to work with and paid good attention to quality. - Kyle came up with good new solution to soffit venting; one that we had not considered previously. - We appreciated the attention to daily clean-up and care taken to avoid inconveniencing neighbors. - Overall, they did a good job listening and communicating in general. Just the right amount of "asking questions" vs. "going ahead and making decisions based on their best judgement". - And, they honored their price, even when things took longer than expected.

Our architect had designed a rain screen installation for our exterior siding using Hardie panel fiber cement board. The look was modern requiring edges of panels to align and stainless steel fasteners that held on the siding also be in straight lines. The panels were sized to match up with windows and doors making alignment a difficult task. Kyle and his workers removed poorly and incorrectly installed fiber cement board installed by prior contactor. Kyle inspected the flashing and vapor barrier and recommended the flashing around the windows be removed and new flashing installed correctly. The finished product was fantastic, Looking at the sun shining down the side of our house produces a consistent sheen with edges of panels aligned and straight rows of stainless steel screw heads. Truly beautiful. His team communicated well when unforeseen issues arose from installing siding on a house built in 1932 suggesting several solutions from which we could choose. Kyle gave us an cost estimate of for siding our house and provided further breakdown of materials and labor when we requested more information. We were notified of any increase in cost do to unforeseen conditions. A house that was recently completed by Kyle using our type of siding was provided as a reference of his work. This house was also very well done. We are very satisfied with the look and have confidence the siding won't be leaking in rain.
