1. You are referring to the issue that we used the wrong pipe and that was why your AC had problem and caused line freeze up!! First of all we used the right pipe which were 3/4" for the suction line and 3/8" for the discharge line. These were and are according to manufacture and trade instruction. You can simply call YORK international at (905)829-1411 and give them the model number of your unit and ask them what size of pipe should be used for 25' line set. They will tell you what I just indicated above. Now the false professional that you said you hired, should have told you that freezing coils and line are not because of wrong pipe or bad installation. Rather it is merely because of the lack of air flow across the evaporator coil.
In the picture that you provided, if anyone look at that closely they see the blanket of dust and dirt covering blower fan motor. which simply is a good indication of how dirty your house was and is and your furnace could not breath and suck air in. As a result the lines freeze up and your electronic air filter which sensed lack of air , shut down the blower fan and this caused the lines freeze up.
Even a child knows that freezing coil and suction lines are sign of not sufficient air flowing across evaporator coil.
When you called us, we explained this and told you that you need to get your duct, evaporator coil and furnace clean then your system would work properly.(I still got the text we exchanged) we asked you to first pay the balance of $2000 so that we will come and resolve any issue related to our work. But you refused to pay us the remaining $2000 therefore we did not want to provide any further service until the balance is paid which has never been paid so far.
2. Regarding your ductless unit, we remind you of the meeting with you and two of our company members and one guy from your renovation company that we all agreed to put one of the ductless unit on west side of the house and we installed it on that wall. As you remember ,you wanted to install it on the bathroom wall. however, after we explained that the bathroom ceiling would drop as a result of the line set and drain line for ductless which need to slob down, you agreed to put it on the west exterior wall. now you say that we installed the unit on the wrong wall!!!
Two days after installation of both duct less units, I came back to your house to follow up with operation of the units and also collecting money , I asked you clearly if the ductless units are working and you said YES they are working. Subsequently I measured the air temperature coming out of the head of both ductless units and they both read 66 Fahrenheit which were good and cold. Now you say they did not work and refrigerant leaked out??!! and you say we installed them on wrong side? how can you say such a big lie? you are an old man and are not expected to tell such lies just because you do not want to pay us. You could have told me you did not have money and /short of money, I promise you that I would walk away and never asked you for the remaining $2000.
As you are aware another trade registered a lien against your property. and obviously because you did not pay them so they registered a lien against your property. As I told you,I was also going to register a lien against your property and I have enough evidence to do that but i just pity on your old age and did not do it.
Now we have to say we do not recommend any one work for Chuck Allen because they end up with getting insulted ( as you and your wife insulted the renovation guy in front of me) and not getting paid.
Next time if you file a complaint, try to not be so stupid to put a picture( above picture from blower fan motor that clogged with dirt and dust) in there that proves things against you. The picture that shows your furnace is just too dirty and almost dying under the dust and dirt and this is your problem not contractor.
3. Above all, you run your furnace while your house was under construction. THIS IS ILLEGAL .( we can prove this) You can not run a furnace in a house that is under construction and later on blame the contractor that they did not do the job properly! Even after construction , you were so damn cheap that did not clean the duct work and run the furnace and air conditioner and let them suck the dust from dry wall and construction work that you did in the past year and get clogged.
Now we know that the $2000 that you did not pay us, you used it to pay someone else to move the ductless from exterior wall to the bathroom wall( not sure about the outcome!)as you wanted at the beginning.
You also used that money to clean your air duct and furnace and evaporator coil and happily lived after! God Bless!
