They answered all of our many questions throughout the whole process in a very timely and professional manner. They were also always on time. - Their whole team works very fast. The day after our first meeting with Shimi, they sent us a great looking 3D render free of charge of what the final product would look like, and even made edits to the render based on our feedback within a few hours. They were also quick to get us the contract once we chose to go with them. - They finished the whole job in a fraction of the time that other contractors quoted us, and we can tell they didn't sacrifice on quality. This helped us a lot to work within our short time frame. - They gave us a great initial quote price and were more than happy to lower it to beat another lower quote we got. - It is unrealistic to think that everything will be 100% perfect when getting any work done on your house. Specialty Remodeling made it feel easy and smooth by fixing any issues we observed without charging us any extra, and in a very timely manner. - They were definitely more concerned with doing a great job and helping us work within our budget than trying to just make money. My wife and I were looking to remodel our kitchen and remove a wall to open it into the living room. We were very nervous about being on a fixed budget and so we contacted many contractors. Specialty Remodeling’s founder, Leo, came personally and gave us by far the best presentation out of the 10 contractors we interviewed. We almost immediately knew we would choose him although we completed every other contractor interview. What makes Leo different is his genuine love for the work and his confidence and willingness to be up front, provide 3D renderings for free almost immediately after meeting and under-promising but over-delivering. Throughout the process of construction, work basically never stopped. Weekdays, weekends, he completed the job in under 2 weeks when every other contractor was saying a 3 week job would basically be a miracle and 6 weeks was the expectation. Leo is dependable, honest and just has a good energy we did not get from any of the other contractors. In particular, to honor the agreement we had made about being on a fixed budget, Leo did a full half day’s work that he did not charge us for because that had not been part of the original deal we shook on. I think that right there speaks to the quality of the man and the company that he runs. Our lives are forever changed by Leo, he walked us through the stress of a significant financial decision and left us with something truly beautiful.
