Metropolitan Bath And Tile

Jonathan Wheeler, MBT contractor, was assigned the job of renovating our upstairs bathroom. The job was started after Labor Day, September 2021 and was completed within a timely manner. Jonathan performed the job in an exemplary manner and followed every detail to the letter. He arrived on time, explained the steps that he would take to complete the renovation and the estimated date for completion. The job was performed with a great deal of precision and professionalism. All tiles lined up perfectly, the new bathroom door was hung precisely as required and all new appliances were installed and working at the completion of the job. We were thoroughly impressed and pleased with the outstanding job that Jonathan performed in transforming our bathroom into a specticle of Beauty. We recommend that Jonathan and his assistant both be compensated by MBT for the outstanding job they did at our house. They were truly a couple of outstanding representatives for Metropolitan Bath and Tiles, and should be compensated appropriately.

We chose metropolitan bath and tile for the convenience of a ‘one stop shop’ for our bathroom remodel. We knew we would be paying more for this service however we did expect service!! All went very well at the beginning and the assistance received at the show room was good. The work on the bathroom was acceptable however could have been better. We expected a few hitches as this is the way things roll these days. The issues came after the job was completed. We made all our payments on time and then a few things went wrong. The customer service was appalling. No follow-from the company and we were given the run around. A person by the name of Ray needs to learn how to respond to a customer who is totally frustrated with his excuses and explanations and to take responsibility and be pro active to rectify problems. He was only Interested in defending himself instead of dealing constructively with the customer.

I had Metro Bath and Tile perform a partial remodel of my master bathroom. The work was okay. I have hired several contractors in the past, and I tried this company after reading positive reviews on another site. The price was a lot higher than I anticipated, but I figured the work would be completed perfectly and on time. Wrong. First, I was not informed until after the crew came out to start work (and I had paid my deposit) that they would have to cut out a portion of my hallway wall to access the plumbing. To make matters worse, it took them weeks to return to cover it with the trim they promised. Then, there were several delays, such as: them not ordering the right part for my faucet, but they were kind enough to give me a replacement while I waited (2 week delay); the worker getting sick (1 day delay); and them showing up with the wrong piece to finally connect the faucet (1 week delay). Lastly, in the end, the job was not perfect. There were still minor imperfections, like sloppy caulking and unpainted trim. I was told when I signed the contract that I wouldn't have to submit my final payment until a few days after I had time to enjoy the remodel and after they called to ensure I was happy. This obviously was not the case. Overall, they are not the worst company, but I would not return.

I am a repeat customer and that in and of itself paints the picture. From start to finish I have no complaints! Every person I worked with was respectful. There were no "hidden costs" and the finished product is what we envisioned.

Recently, Metropolitan completed my bathroom renovation project. They did a fantastic job on the bathroom. Eric, the lead installer was professional, neat, punctual, friendly and very communicative. I will specifically request him for my next bathroom renovation. Sent from my iPhone

We are totally satisfied with the remodeling of our 2 1/2 bathrooms. Right from the beginning, when Anne came out to do our estimate, to designing each of the bathrooms with Cloud, to the actual work performed by Sean and Allen, to our experience with Ray and the production department. Everything was professional, fair and intended to make sure we were happy customers. Anne spent time answering all of our questions, measured accurately, took photos and shared a book of possible vignette ideas with us. Cloud, in the Chantily showroom, was fabulous! We had been putting off having this work done in large part because of the dizzying array of choices and possibilities. We are definitely challenged with color and trying to visualize how things will look; and, he was incredibly patient and knowledgeable during this process. Cloud also worked closely with us making sure we were able to stay within our budget. The installation team, Sean and Allen were professional, neat and punctual, and even careful around our beagle, "Snickers." I think she enjoyed seeing the guys on a daily basis. We also had a full working bathroom throughout the process and our questions were always answered in a courteous manner. These guys are true craftsmen and our bathrooms look like those you see in magazines. Ray was wonderful as our production supervisor! He was able to guide us through the timeline expectations for the entire project, and financial arrangements, utilizing his excellent customer service skills. In addition, Ray was always easily available by phone. We would absolutely, without reservation recommend Metropolitan Bath and Tile to our family and friends.

Recently, Metropolitan renovated our bathroom and we are extremely pleased. It's gorgeous but very functional and a delight to use.The workmanship is first rate, and Sean and Mike were very professional, courteous and hard working. I would highly recommend a Metropolitan Bath and Tile to anyone.

We live in a city row home and started with a very cramped hallway bath. Metropolitan helped us to determine what was possible, designing the layout, choosing materials, and most importantly, making it all come together. We enjoyed working with the entire Metropolitan Bath and Tile team. They take great pride in their work and it clearly shows. We are thrilled with the dramatic transformation, functionality and appearance of our new master bathroom, bedroom dressing area and closet. Over the years our family has always done most of the remodeling to our home. So, it was a difficult decision for us to hire an outside contractor to remodel our bathroom. We are very happy we selected Metropolitan to renovate our bathroom. Their installer, Dave was very knowledgable with every facet of the project. He kept me informed as to what he would be doing and what to expect, every day. The quality of work was excellent. Dave was very businesslike but also professional, courteous and friendly. Metropolitan did a great job renovating our master bathroom. It was a pleasure to work with their entire team, from the showroom staff, estimator, production and installation. Our bath is beautiful and the colors are exactly what we were looking for. In particular, I'd like to comment on Dwayne, the mechanic (installer) on our job. His professionalism, craftsmanship, and eye for details were excellent. Dwayne kept us informed every step of the way and sought are opinions when needed. He transformed our 1970 bathroom into an up-to-date bath with modern fixtures and features. He worked with us and our schedules to make the whole experience as easy and as stress-free as possible. He respected our home and kept it neat and tidy during the whole renovation. Dwayne's commitment to his work and his friendly demeanor made him a joy to interact with and resulted in a master bathroom that we will be proud of for many years to come. We would not hesitate to use Metropolitan for our next bathroom project.
