We completed our bathroom remodel with MBK earlier this year and continue to enjoy the transformation of our entire master suite. With MBK's help and expertise, we went from an outdated design to an open and spacious retreat. The team at MBK was helpful from the beginning, meeting with us to address our concerns with the current floor plan and helping us to design an area that made the most use of the available space. MBK put us in touch with design centers to help find quality materials and helped guide our selections based on our design vision. We recently completed a major master bath renovation with MBK and the experience overall was fantastic! MBK was professional from the outset, meeting with us upfront on multiple occasions to scope the project and to give us advice on our different options. Our project included a demo of existing walls, removing our master tub, installing an oversized shower and reworking new plumbing and lighting. The workers involved in our project were very courteous and mindful of our space, cleaning up daily and minimizing disruption in our home. The MBK team helped us quality source materials through their partners and provided us regular updates on their progress with daily visits from the project manager. The end result is an absolutely gorgeous and tranquil space designed to our specifications. We would absolutely recommend the MBK team for any renovation/design project.

We had a great experience with MBK Remodel and highly recommend them. We needed help with a project smaller than what they’re used to doing and they quoted us a fair price and got it done quickly. Oftentimes with smaller projects, companies will quote much higher to help their profit margins but MBK didn’t do that. It was a fair price. The owner, Joey, is a joy to work with and I really appreciate his honest, direct, and transparent communication. He even followed up after the work was done with a phone call to see how everything went which speaks to his professionalism. This is a company with integrity and to be honest, that can be difficult to find. We have a larger project in mind for the future and will definitely call MBK when we’re ready.

He helped me pick out all of the items that we needed for the remodel, but kept me from getting totally overwhelmed by the crazy amount of different choices there were. We just finished our 7th job with Joey Dahan, the owner of MBK ... which was to complete our main bathroom. As you can see, it's exquisite: the quality, attention to detail, the overall design ... what's not to like? Since we started working with Joey 7 years ago, he and his crew have (literally) remodeled our entire house, a project at a time; the kitchen, both bathrooms, living room, dining room, main bedroom, two offices (my wife and I both work from home), and a den. The first thing Joey always does is to ask what ideas we have, then he works with us to achieve our vision. But he's also a top-notch designer, and incorporates some things we never thought of. For instance, my office had a standard 8-foot ceiling, but after he was finished, it has a soaring ceiling that slants upwards to 15-feet. He literally raised the roof! We then took that idea into the bedroom and raised the roof there. What an amazing transformation. We were knocked out, and so is everyone who sees it! But honestly, the incredibly quality of his work aside, the best thing about working with Joey is ... you get to work with Joey! He's a total mensch (the Yiddish word for "a man of integrity and honor"). I can't think of a better description -- or a better person to trust with your home. Of course MBK handles all the technical details at the highest level of quality, that's what a remodel company should do. But we've never met a nicer, kinder, more caring person in the business than Joey. And he's become a good friend. Why would you possibly want to work with anyone else?

My Bath and Kitchen did a wonderful job installing a walk-in shower. Joey and his crew are so nice and professional. Of all the contractors we have had through the years, MBK was the best. My I love my new shower.

I needed to replace a 40 year old fiberglass kit shower in my condo and wanted to upgrade to tile if possible. After much research and a number of quotes, a neighbor referred me to MBK. It was a great experience from the start. Joey Dahan came out to measure and get an overview of what I wanted to do. He shortly provided me with a detailed quotation outlining all the work to be done and when I was ready to move forward, was there every step of the way to help with selection of materials and scheduling. Mike Moore and the whole construction team that came were all pleasant and easy to work with. Care was taken on every step of construction and the finished shower is absolutely beautiful! Can't have asked for a better experience!

Joey is the BEST! We highly recommend MBK to anyone we know doing construction or remodeling. We recently completed a major kitchen remodel with Joey, and he and the MBK team made a very challenging experience much easier. Our project included removing major structural posts and installing a very large steel beam. Joey and his team (which included architects, engineers, and skilled tradesmen) showed up everyday. They were great at communicating with us, finished the project on time and on budget. The customer service from Joey is unlike any other place we've worked with. Joey has personally come to our home anytime we've had questions- even after the project was completed. Lastly, the MBK online product is unlike anything else we've seen. My Bath & Kitchen is a fantastic company. I have been using them for a couple of months now and have had no complaints about them. The quality of their work is amazing and they have been so easy to deal with. I highly recommend them and their reliable team , Branz , mike, edgar , juan ... list goes on of people ... we are almost done with most of the house ... kitchen, 3 bathroom , new roof, flooring and small things . i'll add final pictures as soon as we finish .

I hired MBK to update my master bathroom, the house's original design built 20 years ago. MBK's owners visited me together with the project manager to understand my wants. Once the project gets started, I have to especially emphasize here, MBK has been very responsive to questions and my daily text message asking about arrival times and work scope because I work from home. Almost daily, the project manager paid a visit to check on the subcontractor's quality of work, additionally, he removed all loose trashes, and that was well appreciated it. It was also because of the project manager's daily visit, he noticed the baseboard was poorly installed on the very same day. He took it upon himself to re-install the baseboard, despite his best effort, there was a small section of the baseboard remained loose because it was hard to reach. MBK is a good company that takes pride in its work and strives for a successful project. I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

This was the third remodel/reconstruction job that Joey oversaw for me: 2 for my home ad 1 for a rental. I have found working with Joey to be a true pleasure. He turns what can be an anxiety-provoking chore into a way to express yourself and beautify your environs. Joey has an enviable sense of aesthetics (and not just by buying more expensive materials). I appreciated his listening to what I wanted and making recommendations that fit with my tastes. I was impressed with his knowledge of where to go to get the stove, sinks, lights, tiles, countertops, etc. and his vast network of people throughout San Diego ready to help you with your needs with little notice. Joey and his MBK tradesmen were conscious of our schedule and didn’t promise anything but met our hoped for deadline with time to spare. I truly appreciated how attentive and responsive MBK was to our requests and queries. As a result, I walk into our newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom with a satisfied smile. Joey and his crew from MBK renovated and upgraded two and a half bathrooms for us. Joey first assisted us with design and purchases. His crew then did demolition, dry walls, floor and shower walls tiling, upgrading the vanity, shower and tub areas, lights, plumbing, electrical work and painting. Joey supervised the work daily, making sure that the work met the highest level standards. He was very open to feedback and requests along the time, and interacted with us in the most kind, patient, professional and cooperative manner. We are very pleased with the outcome, and strongly recommend hiring MBK if you are interested in high quality work, competent workers, excellent customer service, timeliness, and the feeling that the company really cares about you.

We wanted to update our dated guest bathroom and chose MBK and we are really happy with the results. When my husband and I were looking for contractors to remodel our 3 bathrooms, I googled bathroom remodels and found MBK. After my first meeting with Joey, I knew he and his company were the ones we wanted. He took the time to sit down with us and describe the scope of his work and what we could expect from him. He's extremely friendly and personable which is something that was important to us since we knew we'd be seeing a lot him. MBK not only did the construction, but Joey helped me with the design which is something I desperately needed since I didn't really have a good vision of what I wanted. Joey made suggestions, helped me choose the items for the bathrooms and even met me at the tile store to help me select the tile. His employees were extremely polite and responsive and always cleaned up after themselves after working at our house all day. They completed the project in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. Joey came by our house almost every day to check on things and make sure things were running smoothly. If I ever decided to make a last-minute change, Joey accommodated me and took care of it. An example of this is when the guys started the construction on our master bathroom. After they had almost completed the demo, I decided I wanted a new window in the bathroom. I told Joey and the very next day, his guys cut out the wall to fit the dimensions of the new window, bought the window from Home Depot and it was installed almost immediately. We are extremely pleased with the final result and I constantly get compliments on our new bathrooms. We would hire Joey and his company again and we're hoping to have them remodel our kitchen next. He gets my highest recommendation.

I hired My Bath and Kitchen (MBK) to take in hand a laundry room and powder room remodel. I entered into the standard contact with BKM. My past experience with different contractors led me to the belief that the contract price would not end up being the final price and the timelines referenced in the contract would not be when the project was completed. My project was completed for the contract price, and on time. All constructions projects have problems, so the test is not whether there are problems but rather how are the problems are handled. MBK handled problems expeditiously, without drama, and the problems did not result in an increase in the contract price. The subcontractors on the job were polite, hardworking, and competent. MBK has the same values. If I could give MBK more than 5 stars I would.

I just finished a kitchen remodel with MBK and had an overall great experience. After many years of putting this remodel aside , Covid really changed the reality of the time we are now spending at home (My husband is permanently working from home now). I received bids from several general contractors to give the kitchen a much needed work with original cabinets, counters, and flooring. We were referred from neighbors that just finished a bathroom remodel with MBK. We interviewed 4 Contractors but after meeting Joey the Project manager I felt most confident with his professionalism, confidence and personality. We received a very impressive proposal and it wasn't the cheapest nor the highest bid we received. We signed with MBK and started the design process that took roughly 4 weeks and we picked and purchased all the materials together. The construction took roughly 6-8 weeks. Joey was very good with explaining the process and expectations. There were a few hiccups during the remodel (house built 1957) but the construction crew were very accommodating and found creative solutions. Overall super happy with the result and really now that I have been through a pretty big remodel I understand how important it is to pick a good remodeling company. Will recommend to anyone in need for a remodel to at least talk to Joey.

Will definitely recommend ! I came across MBK from a brief Google search and already love the idea that they gave me a quote on the spot. It was just what I needed because I wasn't willing to spend so many hours of meeting so many contractors. The meeting with them was brief it took only 30 minutes for measurements and they were true to their estimate. I picked all the products on their website and everything was delivered to my house. Mike inspected all the products and made sure that they were not damaged. Overall the guest bathroom only took 5.5 weeks from start to finish. Joey and his crew showed up on time and were professional, honest, efficient, worked hard and quality of their work is excellent.
