In May of '21 I had bought an albatross of a house with good bones. I thought I could tackle the upgrades and renovations myself, but quickly realized this place was out of my wheelhouse. Everything was dated from the 1980s with tile and dark wood that was not my style. Through social media, I asked if someone could help me. Several people recommended Just Covi including an old acquaintance. I reached out to Covi and it was the best thing I have done in a long time. She asked what I wanted done and what my budget was. I told her the kitchen needed lots of love and what I wanted and could afford were probably two different things. I told her I didn't know how to handle the floors (two story house) and had done some price shopping on what I wanted but didn't want to pay the price. Covi, sat me down explained what she could do and stay in my budget. The kitchen looks brand new with nominal expenses out of pocket. The floors got vinyl flooring at a fraction of the price I had found. All the dark wood was replaced with new trim and the popcorn ceiling disappeared. Several times I tried to go "cheap" and very tactfully Covi suggested the cost wasn't that much, but the aesthetics would be great. She was correct and we stayed in budget. A year later, it was time to do two of the three bathrooms. I trusted Covi and the craftsmanship of the people she recommended. The demolition happened while I was on holiday the transformation of two very dated bathrooms was amazing. The guest bath is stellar and the design revolved around a lava sink my son gave me. Even the contractor was impressed as to how Covi pulled things together for an amazing look. Several great things about working with Covi: She listens to what you say and then gives ideas of how to make it happen. Really it is your concept of the room and she is giving pointers on how to make it happen. When she is done, people know my influence was there, but Covi made it look great. Covi finds the contractor to do the work and each of them have been better than expected and they are quality workers in the budget. Covi will do the "shopping" for what is needed and then even watch the inventory and if there is a price drop, she is on it for the rebate to you the customer. Her response time if fast, her smile is great and she is 100% trustworthy. My only regret is I did not listen when she made suggestions on the first round as I am doing them on the second round and laughing it should have done sooner. In short, you cannot find a better person to guide you on a home makeover.

Covi was an absolute professional, from our first meeting through the completion of the project. She totally got what I was looking for and delivered a beautiful space that we love so much! She was able to work with my budget, that I admit was tight, and still was able to do an amazing job. Everything was done in the time frame we discussed and we had great communication throughout. Not only would I 100% recommend her to anyone, I plan on hiring her again for another project!

Covi did an incredible job guiding me through my kitchen renovation. She turned my dark drab kitchen in to a bright, cheery and elegant gourmet kitchen! I have no doubt she saved me from making some costly mistakes. Thanks Covi!

I've worked with a number of designers over the years, but I have to tell you that Covi is above and beyond. She's an incredible talent and has transformed my home from blah and mismatched to an elegant beachside gem. I couldn't be happier. Now, I walk in the front door and can't believe it's mine. I've owned five homes over the years and have never had one I like as much as this one, and it's all because of Covi. AND...she does it on my budget which I truly appreciate. She's more than willing to purchase accessories at Home Goods and other lower cost places that look like a million bucks. She's my designer for life! :)

What a wonderful experience it was working with Covi on our kitchen renovation! We have completed other renovations without a designer and as I was set in my design vision, I wasn't certain that hiring a designer would prove to be beneficial for this project. However, Covi, along with her team, offered wonderful guidance and practical solutions for some challenges that arose which greatly enhanced our vision. From the first contact, Covi was responsive, friendly, honest, patient and delivered on all that was promised. We feel very lucky to have had her on our side during the renovation and I look forward to working with her again in the future!

Covi has amazing taste and a great personality. She goes above and beyond to find the best quality materials and worked within my budget. She responds super quickly and is reliable and courteous. I STRONGLY STRONGLY recommend Covi Pena--of Just Covi!!! i did a gut total rehab of my club cottage at PGA national in early 2019---covi was highly recommended by the rental office at PGA ---i am an absentee landlord living in Chicago IL----we had only 2 initial conversations and i hired her SIGHT UNSEEN!!! my club cottage is SPECTACULAR!!!! covi captured what i was trying to do over the phone and sent me numerous ideas----after i chose the one that was perfect for me--she executed it FLAWLESSLY!!! she is very professional, very creative , very honest, very fun, very cost conscious, and an absolute joy to work with!!! she hired the main contractor and oversaw the job from start to finish----the job came in on budget and on time!!-covi tried to save me money whenever possible---including buying exceptional pieces at garage sales and little knicknacks that made the place unique---my rental income is up 4X what it was---and she keeps tabs on my property on an ongoing basis!!!
