The Habidex team is very innovative and professional, they will help you make any dream you have come true. Eric and his crew helps us to renovate 5 kitchen cabinets and countertop job. Very friendly and was a joy to work with them to fulfill our wants and needs. We would have no hesitation to recommend.

Eric and his team have done renovation work for us previously. This time Eric made some seismic upgrades to our 1940s home. The project was done cost effectively and to a high level of quality.

The bathroom renovation was an excellent experience! Eric was always clear over how the bathroom would be renovated, explaining each aspect of the process. He had a great team of tradesmen such as plumbers, tilers and electricians. He’s very experienced and was able to solve any problems that arose. We would highly recommend him to any homeowner doing a bathroom renovation!

I am not prone to writing reviews however I felt compelled to complement Eric on a job very well done. Hearing about some of the charlatans out there it can be a daunting process hiring someone to trust with your renovations. I can highly recommend Habidex; I recently had my kitchen cabinets replaced and Eric was a pleasure to work with and kept me informed throughout the entire process. His workmanship and communication skills are excellent including coming up with solutions to problems that older condos can present (i.e. being rather uneven.) I will not hesitate to hire Habidex to work on future renovations.

Eric and his team at Habidex resurfaced our patio, fixed any rotting areas, and replaced the old wooden railings and stairs with metal ones. The work was done on time, and with excellent communication at every step. Highly recommend! We love our new deck!

We hired Eric to renovate the ground-level suite of our new home. We interviewed multiple contractors, but knew from the moment we met him that he was the right guy for the job. He was very honest, personable, and professional. When we moved into our new home, we discovered that renovations would also be required upstairs (which required some very ingenious solutions). Eric was immediately on top of things, and kept the project moving along quickly even though we had expanded the scope. He was always receptive to our ideas and replied quickly to all questions. He was also very thoughtful... from giving a tiny tape measure to our tool-obsessed toddler, to recommending some child proofing measures we hadn't considered, and even helping us with a wasp problem! It is obvious that he truly cares about his clients. He frequently suggested great ideas about how to control our costs! We are thrilled with the results of our renovation and would wholeheartedly recommend Habidex.

We are so thrilled with our new bathroom! We went with Habidex to renovate our downstairs bathroom and Eric and his team have been incredible to work with from start to finish. Eric gave great insight into ways to save money and utilize some of the pieces we already had in place which we didn't consider but so glad we did. The entire project went smoothly - Eric was excellent at communication and ideas - was friendly and professional (even our dog who is weary of strangers loves him!). Eric was very professional. He did not promise something that he could not deliver. He was very adaptable with changes that we wanted to make during the process of our renovation. He looked after the other contractors made sure that they were doing the work and if something wasn't done right he had them come back and deal with us. We would use Eric again without a question.

We are really happy with the whole renovation experience with Habidex. Eric is very good in project planning and preparation. He kept us informed of the work in progress, made us aware of potential issues along the way and provided options to address them. He gave enough information so we can make good decisions. He's been very accommodating and very quick to respond on messages. Looking back, we would not have done this renovation with anyone else.

We asked Eric to build us a deck in our backyard. He was very helpful with what is possible and what works best for our home. He was able to get it started quickly once we agreed on the design (which worked out perfectly). He recommended us to use a decking system instead of ply wood due to the price and scarcity. The decking system works really well. Within a couple of weeks, the deck was built and we were able to put in the outdoor furniture. So his project schedule was really great as the timing was synchronized. We then had to wait for the patio cover to arrive to complete the installation. That unfortunately took till August as everything was on back ordered. When finally they came, it was completed within the week and Eric proceeded to finish the rest of the patio including netting around the patio (he improvised a solution for the netting (only about $250) that works really well without costing multiple thousand dollars). We are super pleased with the patio.

This was our first renovation project and we were not sure where to start, but Eric arranged all the contractors we need to complete the project. He is very friendly and replies quickly to our questions and concerns throughout the project, and it was a pleasure to work with him. We are happy with how the new kitchen turned out and glad that we got the under-cabinet light he recommended to install. It definitely brightens up our small window-less kitchen and illuminates the beautiful quartz countertop. We replaced the bathroom vanity to match the kitchen, and he measured and installed it perfectly to match the previous vanity size so that existing flooring doesn't need to be modified. The estimate on prices was quite accurate, there were only a few things we needed to add but it was within the expected range. (about 5% of the estimate) Thank you and hopefully, we can work together again in the near future!

I needed to repair a damaged floor and sub-floor at the base of a toilet. Eric fixed the floor and coordinated other trades to complete the work. He was prompt and professional. I’m happy with the result and the experience. I will use Habidex again.

We love our bathrooms! It feels like we are stepping into the bathroom of a fine hotel! We are very pleased with the bright, fresh, clean feel, not over the top, but just right for us. The toilets, the faucets, the vanities, countertop, floors, ceiling fans, and new light fixture, all of it so efficient, quiet, and easy to keep clean. Eric helped us navigate through the many choices and products on the market. We are so pleased the way it it all came together. Eric was professional, competent, reasonable and personable. I WOULD RECOMEND HABIDEX TO ANYONE CONSIDERING REMODELLING ANY PART OF THEIR HOME!

I had been wanting to renovate my basement for a while but was nervous since I didn’t know who to trust. And this project would require cabinet designers/plumbers/electricians/tilers and floor installers. I needed someone that would take pride in their work and actually cared...doing the job right, including the minor details. Eric did a wonderful job! Organized all the different trades and was on site and hands on doing a lot of the work himself to make sure everything was going according to the plan. It looks great! From the beginning of our kitchen renovation Eric was amazing. We hired him on the recommendation of our cabinet place to just remove the old kitchen, we did not know he did general contracting at the time. He answered all of our questions patiently and helped us through the entire Reno process. From the first time I met him I had a good feeling. He came over about a week in advance of the kitchen removal and when I voiced uncertainty about how the kitchen Reno would work and what had already been lined up by our cabinet place, he immediately got on the phone and started calling a variety of people to make sure things were lined up for us. He gave us good advice throughout, advised us about unexpected expenses, called us to help us interpret results from testing that we did etc. etc. This was all above and beyond what we had hired him to do. He referred us to an electrician, plumber and a Tiler. If I had known then what I know now, I would’ve hired him to be our general contractor.

We hired Eric to refresh our 3 bathrooms, including what amounted to a full gutting/renovation for one of them. We had very specific parameters for what we wanted for each bathroom, but obviously none of the know-how regarding what it took to get everything done. Eric did a great job of taking care of all the little details, including coordinating with sub-trades, dealing with unanticipated issues, and tastefully selecting various materials to go alongside what we wanted. Eric helped us replace copper pipes and drywall repairs in our basement. The work was completed well and in a timely manner.

Everything we have read about Eric and Habidex Renovations is true! He follows through his renovations with prompt, and honest professionalism. From the plumbers, drywallers and electricians, Eric had them here right away. Eric likes to get the jobs done right and in a timely manner, which makes life easier for everyone. Speaking of reviews, we actually didn't hire Eric due to the reviews, which we didn't read till after. It was our first consultation with him that we called him back after 5 minutes of seeing him. We had consulted with other potential renovation companies, but when we met Eric, we knew. You get more than an expert in the renovation field, more than a organized tradesman, with Eric you get a very decent human being who is very genuine and warm. We hired Eric to renovate our kitchen, install potlights in the family room, paint most of our main floor and install a new built in pantry and some other jobs around the house. Eric was pleasure to work with. He worked closely with the sub-trades to find the best ways to solve problems and was open to suggestions and patient with our last minute plan alterations. Eric made sure we were informed about all aspects of the project and completed the project within the projected timeframe. We are very pleased with the overall quality of the work Eric did. I have no hesitation recommending Eric for home renovation projects.

Eric did an amazing job on our apartment renovations. The bathroom, kitchen, and living areas turned out well above our expectations. He was very professional throughout the project. He was up front with us about the schedule and delivered as he said he would. Eric was also very courteous to our neighbours and we were told by them how great he was. We fully recommend Eric and will be contacting him again if we do more renovations in the future.

Eric did some home renovations for me over the course of 4 days. His work is outstanding and his service is top notch. One project was the assembly of a shed I purchased at Costco. Online reviews all indicated it would take 2 people up to 10 hours to assemble, Eric did the job in 6 hours by himself, totally amazing. Without question I highly recommend Eric.

Eric, After reading his positive reviews, we decided to ask Eric to provide a quote on a bathroom renovation. During his initial pre-quote inspection, he provided suggestions on how to save some money as well as to arrive at a better product. His friendliness and professionalism were evident during the initial inspection and the follow-ups during the quoting. Once we received his competitive quote, it was pretty easy to go ahead and choose Eric. In a nutshell, he finished the job on time and on budget, even though there were some building discovery hiccups on the way. His coordination with his sub-trades and the quality of the sub-trades were super. His flexibility and his concern of keeping the household operation intact was great. Eric re-modeled my kitchen. He gave me a temporary kitchen so that I wasn't without a kitchen for even one day. Very impressed with how he and trades respected my home by keeping it as tidy as possible. Very good at communicating with me about next steps and answering questions. The owner, Eric, is a friendly, knowledgeable, and well connected professional. In one business day and no prior notice, he managed to get multiple trades on site (plumber, electrician, and roofer) and correct several structural framing issues.

I hired Eric to open up the wall between my kitchen and dining room making a more open concept space. I am delighted by the final result. Throughout the job Eric was very reliable, respectful, kept to budget and communicated very regularly. His work was high quality,he kept the work area tidy, and I felt very secure leaving him alone in the house when I was out at work. Eric completed a carport to garage and auto shop for me. Working with me and my architect he modified the design and adapted it to provide me my desired goals while minimizing cost. In addition, his choice of materials provided durability to my new shop.
