Great Decor LLC - Design & Remodel

Elena and her team did a fantastic job fully renovating our kitchen. From start to finish, she managed the project with expertise, creativity, kindness and professionalism. She stuck to our strict budget and gave us many project options (including detailed specs and photos) within that budget to make decisions that were best for us. The contract included ALL additional work so we had so surprises during the project. She was incredibly clear in all of her communication and she was easy to trust to get the job done right. She communicated with her team (granite, tile, paint, construction) excellently and they were all great at their trades, organized, and courteous. We are so pleased with our beautiful, functional, new kitchen!

I decided to completely renovate my kitchen a year ago, and after speaking with several contractors, decided to hire Elena to run the project. This was the most important first decision of many, and I really glad I found her for the job. Here are some reasons why. 1) Her quote was exact. There were no hidden or surprise fees at the end. I made a couple changes along the way, which she gave me the price for and I added on. She was flexible in working with changes and her estimates were exact. 2) She has a broad understanding of varying styles. She understood the technical side of the job AND the interior design aspect of the job. Both were important to me, and not all contractors are capable of both (I spoke with several that did not understand the "look" I was going for). 3) The subcontractors that completed the work day-to-day were excellent, friendly, and respectful. I did not mind having them in my house at all. 4) Everything from her end was on time. The project was delayed only because I ordered my appliances a little late. She completed her work as promised, and when my appliances were delayed, she adjusted her schedule to work with me. 5) She worked with my budget. My kitchen looks amazing, is high quality, and was within the reasonable budget I had outlined. Every other contractor I spoke with told me it wouldn't happen. Elena made it happen. 6) I think I may have asked Elena fifty questions a day. Never once did she act annoyed or inconvenienced by my needing clarification or further explanation of the process. She is extremely patient and customer service oriented. I could really go on and on with examples. Elena was absolutely professional, knowledgeable, and delightful to work with. I would hire her again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend her, especially to someone who is renovating for the first time.

I found great decor through my painter - who connected me to this wonderful company after being abandoned by my initial contractors who had fallen way behind schedule, and began doing substandard work that had to be revised. Great Decor came in to save the day - completing multiple unfinished projects, and re-doing many things that just weren't up to par. Along the way - they corrected other issues that popped up without hesitation. Elena was a pleasure to work with, has good design insights, was always available and responsive, and was reassuring whenever unexpected problems arose. I plan to use them again in the future, and would recommend them to a friend without hesitation.

I did a color selection for my home with Elena and she was such a joy to work with! She was very friendly still professional, her ideas were super creative and she still values my opinion! I definitely recommend her for home renovations, color selections and interior decorating! Will call again!

Elena worked with me to plan and execute the decor in a huge basement refinishing project in conjunction with Basement Masters. She was exceptionally friendly, supportive and reliable throughout the process. Her advice was great and I am thrilled with the finished project.

Elena is an excellent designer and project manager. She managed a complex, 3-month, 2000 square foot basement rehab for us and excelled in every respect. She is accountable; helped us work through difficult problems (like a Murphy door that wouldn't fit); keeps a close eye on subcontractors and makes them fix work when needed; and has a wonderful design eye. She picked out most of our more interesting fixtures and design details. We can't recommend Elena highly enough and look forward to working with her in the future.

Elena was the project manager and interior decorator for our basement finishing project. She easily grasped how we wanted to use our basement and was able to provide suggestions on how to best achieve a beautiful and functional use of the space. Elena, worked with us to choose elements which looked good together and fit within our budget. We have since received several compliments on the finished project. Elena coordinated with us prior to in order to ensure it would not adversely impact our family. She quickly addressed any questions we had throughout the process and provided a weekly schedule so that we would know what was going on and who would be in our home. Any time that workers would be in our home outside of a normal 8AM to 5PM weekday, Elena coordinated with us prior to in order to ensure it would not adversely impact our family.

Working with Elena through Basement Masters was a great experience. She guided us through the process of chooses finishes for our full basement renovation. She also served as the project manager sending us emails weekly with choices we needed to make as well as the workers who would be on site each day of the week. We ran into a couple ordering issues and the substitute products she recommended worked out well for us. Elena helped make our remodeling experience very smooth.

Great Décor has provided us a great service! We hired them for interior decoration of our new house. Elena of Great Décor was very patient with us and very considered of our color preferences. She suggested a lot of great ideas, and the vintage map for our office was a really nice touch. We will definitely hire them again for our basement remodeling.
