Sobre nosotros

I started this company with a longtime friend way back in 1992. You see I was working with an existing remodeling company that decided that in order to pad profits they were going to switch employees from salary to commission. Worse yet, I was starting to see degrading quality standards and a “do whatever it takes to make a buck” mentality. I couldn’t do it. So I started GoodeGuy Construction. We started this company with the entire philosophy of being completely honest and forthright with our clients with the end goal of providing my clients with the absolute best value for their money. I know I am not the cheapest…no do I care to be. What I care to be is the absolute best value for the money. In the end, I am proud to say that we have been in business for over 20 plus years.

We just had our master bath remodeled and the project finished in 5 days. It was a total gut with the jacuzzi tub removed, one window removed, shower spaced enlarged, 2 new vanities installed, new flooring and vanity lights. We are very pleased and the crew was very easy to work with. They are definitely hard working guys. We appreciate working with Scott when making selections and his suggestions on what we were looking for in this space.

We hired Goode Guy Construction to do a living room/kitchen remodel that included removing a load-bearing wall and installing hardwood flooring throughout the remodeled area. We had an island, new cabinets and quartz countertops installed as well, and we are absolutely thrilled with the end result. We were back in our home in a week, as promised, and the transformation is incredible. We have already recommended the crew of professionals at Goode Guy to family and friends and will definitely contact Scott the next time we are in the market for a redesign.

Our older home (1937) had an unfinished basement which we wanted to convert to a livable guest room, reading room, and rec room. A friend recommended Goode Guys. We checked on their work during an "open house" and then invited Scott to visit. He sized up our needs and wants, made a few cogent suggestions, described what he proposed to do, and sent us a 14K estimate. The work was done in a timely manner, within budget. New walls with insulation, flooring with wall to wall carpeting, ceiling, electrical, stairs and railing. No plumbing. Being academics, the added bookcases were essential. We were delighted. The workmen were polite and professionally competent, especially the head carpenter Layne. Yes, we would use them again.

We have used GoodeGuy Construction several times to do various jobs in our home. We have always been pleased with how prompt they are and the quality of their work. When they give a quote for a job that is the price you pay unless we have added extra things. The workers are all experienced people. We recommend GoodeGuy to our friends and family.

Scott's team did a remodel of our master bathroom in 2016 and the process went really well. The thing we liked the most was Scott's willingness to listen to what we wanted and design the bathroom consistent with our wishes. He took the time to create exactly what we wanted.

Scott and his crew did a fantastic job on our kitchen remodel, and everyone who sees it says it is a dream kitchen. The quality of the work and materials is high, and the job was completed in a professional and timely manner. We would certainly use them again.

We worked with Jordan Goode on the design and details of replacing our existing deck with adding a concrete patio underneath. He listed to our concerns, answered our questions, and was very thorough in the cost and timeline. He was also patient with us in making decisions regarding price, layout, and color choices. The gentleman (and yes, they were) that worked on the removal, dirt work, concrete work, and deck building were hard working and cleaned up the work site every time so my kids wouldn't get hurt if they were under there playing. They were also very polite and punctual in showing up, working all day as needed. We will recommend Goode Guy Construction every time.

Their employees were very respectful and hard-working. The job was mostly completed within the agreed upon time frame. The work was of high quality and the end product was beautiful.
