Eastern Refinishing

On 1/10/19 I contacted this company to reglaze a 30" farmhouse sink in my kitchen b/c it was Vet owned and my husband is a Vet. On 2/8/19 Greg re-glazed the sink and I paid him $349 via check. After letting it sit as required I noticed it was not smooth, peeling and staining. I sent them pictures on 2/13 and 2/22. On 2/25 I was contacted by Jennifer and told that i would be put on the schedule for Friday, 3/1 since Greg is in Camden, NJ doing another job. On 3/1 Greg came by and re-glazed the sink stating he believes the problem came about in how the product was mixed. On 3/4 I contacted Jennifer again stating that the sink was peeling and i was not sure what kind of material they are using. On 3/5 Tom contacted me stating he is looking into the matter. On 3/7 I contacted Tom stating I had not heard from anyone and Greg was not answering his cell phone. We were then told that someone would be here on 3/28 to fix this problem but no one showed up or called. I contacted Tom on 3/29 stating that I've been pretty patient in this matter and that i just want my sink, which i paid a lot of money for, fixed. On 3/29 Tom replied to my message saying he's not sure what happened but could put me on the schedule for 4/1 around 1:30 pm. On 3/29 I was told that the technician was on vacation and should not have been booked. He stated he could put me on the schedule for 4/16 at 10 am and I replied that that was fine. On 4/15 i received a call on my cell from a Adam stating he needs to reschedule the 4/16 visit and wants to do it on 4/20. I emailed Tom on 4/15 stating this and that I cannot do 4/20 as i was hosting an early Easter dinner that day. We have never heard back from anyone either via email or phone. My husband and I have both called. I emailed on 6/27 stating that it's been over 3 months and i want what i paid for. To date no email, no phone call and a sink that is still peeling and stained. No warranty issued as they state they will provide. The owner Charlie is the rudest person you could ever speak to. He stated the only way he could refund my money is by me giving him my credit card and refunding it to that. I stated I am not comfortable giving him my cc# so I told him via paypal, venmo or money order from their business account, all of which they could not do. He then proceeded to tell me my sink was "destroyed before they did anything", which is a total lie and I have proof. At this point i am hiring an attorney to handle this for me. So now they can pay attorney fees on top of what they owe me. DO NOT EVER EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently bought and renovated a condo. Everything was new and beautiful with the exception of the shower, bathtub, and the tiles surrounding both. I called Eastern Refinishing on a Thursday and the job was done by the following Tuesday! The experience was wonderful from beginning to end. All of my questions were answered, the price was great, and I cannot say enough about Bill H. and the meticulous work he did to make my bathrooms look new!! He was prompt, personable, and took the time to remove my awful shower doors even though it was not an easy task. I HIGHLY recommend Bill H. and Eastern Refinishing! You will not be disappointed!

Eastern did our bathtub and it turned out great! They were on time and explained everything nicely and I was impressed with the finished result.
