In a nutshell, Gidget Webster, the dynamo who owns DesignCents, made our dream come true. Her vision and attention to detail transformed our drab and dreary kitchen into a work of art. Gidget was intimately involved with every phase of our kitchen remodel and was always available to ensure the project ran smoothly. For example, when the demolition team was surprised to find ducting behind a soffit she sprang into action to develop a solution. Bottom line...we love our new kitchen and we highly recommend Gidget and DesignCents to handle all your home improvement needs and desires.

I think we came up with a good solution and the guys at Homefix were really good sports about the workarounds. Gidget is so much fun to work with. She is very knowledgeable about the industry and if she doesn't know the answer, she'll find out for you. She has done a couple of projects for me. With each project, she has given great ideas and advice on all aspects of the project, while taking into consideration my own personal style. She has great contacts and professional contractors that she works with closely and who know how to get the job done right. The latest project was a bookshelf/fireplace wall remodel. It is fabulous! I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful remodel!

What can we say….. Gidget is amazing and the BEST designer we could ever hoped to work with. Not only did she design an absolutely beautiful kitchen but she kept the project moving along. We had some serious issues with our contractor but thanks to Gidget and Design Cents our possible nightmare kitchen did become our dream kitchen. There is no problem Gidget can’t help you over come.
We plan to remodel our master bathroom in the future, Gidget and Design Cents will be our designer with a new contractor. No matter what happens we know our new project will be in the best hands possible.

Gidget's design input and plans helped us to create the master suite of our dreams. Gidget's eye for space to include all the design features we wanted in our master bath led us to reconfigure our original plans - and it couldn't have worked out better. We love the finished project! Gidget was on board with our construction team and was on site to make sure all the details were clear in the plans. She provided us finish options and fixture choices in line with our personal style and previous remodeling project.

The wonderful, caring people with professional know-how are the ones to hire when you want a job done well! DesignCents was a company recommended to us for a bathroom addition, and trying to have a bathroom installed when I lived in another state was a challenge, but Gidget made it easy and the end product is beautiful and functional. Designcents can be trusted to turn ideas into realities, to stay within budget, and to communicate effectively during the process. I'd use them again in a heartbeat!

Design Cents was recommended to us and the reviews were great. Our project was a little different in that we bought a home from out of town and interaction was via phone and email. We also were just after basic design ideas to tie rooms together and such as we were military and had not owned a house in a while. I don't think Karen grasped the concept we were after nor our budget. Items suggested multiple times were not kid friendly and even when I said I wasn't interested in $200 bed set for destructive young boys that was what was picked. Decals that were picked turned out failure as won't stick to our textured walls which the designer should have realized before purchasing. Items picked were way more expensive then if I bought on my own as well. We were supposed to meet once we were in town which never happened. Maybe it would have worked better had we been local throughout the whole process.

I would love to chat about your review of DesignCents and what we could've done better. We're totally bummed that you weren't thrilled with our service. I know Karen worked really hard to get everything painted and done before you arrived on the mainland...(I believe we got our painter in there within one week of our initial contract to finish the work, including the amazing ombré wall!) I saw the pics and thought it was so cool!
It is common to have a back and forth inspiration board exchange to pin down final styles, especially when we can't just go to a home and "see" your style/lifestyle. We take as much time as it takes to "get it right".
Karen has four kids of her own, so I know she grasps "kid friendly" style, however each person has their own idea of what will be or not be kid friendly. Hence, why we take the time to reselect any items our clients deem necessary.
Decals...we didn't purchase any decals for you. So, I'm not sure of the quality of the decals and install of those decals. It's so unfortunate that you've had trouble. We've used many decals before and have had no trouble. When we purchase items for our clients we guarantee their satisfaction. We choose quality merchandise that we know you'll be happy with. If you're unhappy with any of our provided products (or install), we make it right.
I would love to leave a "sweet taste in your mouth"

Comentado: Love the bathroom! What size are the tiles on the shower walls?The wall tiles are Mexican clay, sized at about 4x4. The corner bench seat is a 12x12 (from another bathroom remodel in that home) cut on the diagonal for the seat. Hope that helps!
