I was shopping around for contractors last spring when I remembered Design Doctors had completed a bathroom remodel for my neighbor who was very pleased with their work. After talking with Justin, the owner, it quickly became clear to me I wanted to work with them. I had them paint everything in my condo (ceiling to floor), install complete new flooring throughout and remodel my bathroom. I was extremely pleased with the initial and on-going communication throughout the project, their professionalism and great attention to detail. Their organization of project was phenomenal! Wow! The personalized service from Justin and crew made remodeling easy and pleasant even in a small condo. Their craftsmanship over-the-top! What I really loved is they kept me within my budget! I’m very pleased with the overall process and my decision to work with them. I am looking forward to Phase 2 of my remodeling project with them soon!

Four and a half years ago, we had the good fortune to find Justin Ross and his Design Doctors team for the purpose of totally remodeling our just purchased home in Vancouver. Throughout the process, Justin and his team did an amazing job of transforming our house into the dream home we hoped it would be. Such a process always has the potential for creating stress and perceived "pain and suffering". Justin's cool and calm demeanor, his professionalism and his ability to get things done the right way carried us through. Recently, both our bathrooms showed signs of leaking through the showers. Justin stepped right in and stayed with us throughout the process of finally locating the sources of the leaks and making the repairs necessary. This was just another example of his dedication to doing the job right and his personal integrity.

In the last year and a half I have had Design Doctors complete several major remodeling projects for me. They are now doing some work for my daughter, and I have plans for more in the spring. We used Design Doctors to remodel our kitchen and all of our bathrooms. They did an excellent job. From the start, they were very helpful when choosing tile, fixtures, countertops, etc. for the project. The crew working at our house was very respectful and courteous. Their attention to detail was impeccable especially on the tile work. The subcontractors they used for electrical and plumbing work were very good. We encountered a few issues after the project was complete. They addressed these promptly without any hassle. I would highly recommend Design Doctors Construction.

There are few words that can express the joy we felt seeing the completed bath project undertaken by this wonderful company. Their staff is extraordinary!! They show on time and don't stop for lunch and stay late. Their attention to detail is beyond approach and create the most beautiful creation I have ever seen. We have travel extensively and stayed in some of the most elaborate resorts and hotels in the world and have never experienced a more beautiful bathroom. Complete kitchen rebuild (post water damage), flooring in family room and entry, and removal of popcorn ceilings/resurface of 3 bedrooms and hallway. Design Doctors was incredible to work with, from beginning to end. I think in this day and age, and based on personal experience, it's rare to find a contractor that does what they say, when they say they're going to do it, on-time and on-budget, and COMMUNICATES throughout the process. An awesome team!! Friendly, professional, great attention to detail, beautiful results!! I have recommended them to everyone I know...

After having weeks of trouble trying to find a contractor to install a new stair rail for us, we were told to try calling Design Doctors. It took only one call to speak to an actual person who set up an appointment a couple of days later for Scott to come out and give us a bid. He patiently answered all of our questions, even the ones that may have seemed silly. He did a fantastic job on the install, beyond what we had even hoped! He was friendly, knowledgeable, organized, prepared, and paid attention to every detail of the project. We seriously could not have asked for more. Our stair rail is truly a work of art.

I have worked with this company since 2012. They have done several projects for me at my home and at my rentals. They are unbelievably reliable and the work they do is very professional. I've never had a problem after the job was done. The costs are also very reasonable. They follow the rules for building codes so you don't end up with a non-permitted job that would prevent you from selling your property later on down the road. I appreciate the level of expertise and long term thinking which I've come to rely on with Design Doctors. I feel as if my property is treated with the same level of respect that they have for their own home. I honestly love these guys. They do great work, they're respectful, they know building codes, they get the job done and do it right and the costs are within reason for the job. I will absolutely be hiring them again.

I write this recommendation for Design Doctors recommending them highly and without reservation. I have worked with Justin for the past 7 years and he has been a consummate professional. He is accurate in his initial assessment of the scale and cost of all my projects. Justin uses a project tracking software called buildertrend to keep me up to date on my project. Justin ALWAYS choses and manages sub-contractors extremely well. All the jobs his crews have done is with care and precision. Marcus and Scott are both gifted woodcrafters and provides custom and exceptional work. In addition, every day I come home from work my house is clean and tidy and they have never left the worksite in disarray. Justin and his crew are perfectionists and the outcome is always a work of art. I have recommended Design Doctors to my friends and family, and all who have used them are always extremely pleased with the outcome.

Design Doctors helped with an interior remodel of our home installing new hardwood, adding a new window, removing two arches and installing new French doors. They were very professional, consistent in their communication, explained all change orders and kept the job site very clean throughout the process. I look forward to working with them again on our remaining remodel projects.
