We worked with Sam and CKG on a large scale home remodel in Sherman Oaks, CA that included kitchen, bathroom, floors and reworking the floorplan of our first floor. From the very start Sam was upfront and honest about the scope and timeline of the project. He assisted us in choosing finishes and ushered us through the process of permitting. Sam and his team were always very professional and extremely fast to respond to any concern or unexpected issue that arose. Our project was completed ahead of schedule and with we are thrilled with the final product. When it is time for us to complete another home project Sam and California Kitchen Gallery will be our first phone call.

I loved my experience working with California Kitchen Gallery. Sam was an amazing contractor and designer. He helped me renovate my condo, which included the kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and all flooring. Sam was an excellent resource for all design questions and also had an amazing selection of materials in his showroom. He completed the job quickly and was always available via phone, text, or in person to meet and discuss changes. Overall I am extremely happy with my new condo!

Sam and his crew did an excellent job on my full kitchen remodel. His design optimized my space and the quality of his materials was top notch. His contractors were excellent, and I'm particularly happy with the tile work (on the back-splash and the flooring of my kitchen and laundry room). He finished the job on time (about one month) and on budget (about $35K). I am enjoying my new kitchen and am already getting a lot of compliments about it.

I called California Kitchen Gallery because of a review they shared on a particular decorative hood I’m considering for my client. I am a kitchen and bath designer and reached out to them for their opinion of the product and they freely shared their experience and some of the concerns they had and gave me insight how I might proceed with the hood by communicating with the manufacturer to avoid the same negative experience they had. The Holy Grail of every kitchen reno is that it look “custom made.” What does that exactly mean? Well, for one thing it is the difference between a $35,000 kitchen makeover and one that costs in the range of $65,000 upwards to $100,000 and beyond. We chose Sam at CKG in Sherman Oaks to manage and design our new kitchen because he came in with the most audacious design (wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling cabinets anyone??) at a reasonable mid-range price. His kitchens are “semi-custom”, meaning he uses prefabricated, machine tooled cabinets and drawers with a variety of finishes you choose from his densely-packed showroom on Van Nuys Blvd. just off Ventura Blvd. Sam is a one-man band. He designs and then executes his design as your general contractor. My husband and I found comfort in that one man would oversee and be accountable for implementing the design, thus limiting the possibility of finger pointing if something should go wrong (which invariably and unavoidably it will). Indeed, there were “issues” that did come up but more critically Sam stayed true to the process and addressed the problems as they reared their ugly heads in good faith and resolved the problems without ever compromising the integrity of the end product. The end result is a truly gorgeous, highly functional kitchen that we love, that truly appears to be custom-made, and, in the one year since we’ve been cooking in the kitchen for ourselves and our one-year old son, has held up to the high bar that this fledgling chef demanded. A dishwasher leak lead to extensive repair of our old kitchen in 2015. My husband and I got four separate quotes, including a quote from a contractor we used for our two bathrooms. We choose Sam and his team for their fair price, remodel recommendations, other reviews and a sense that Sam and his team would be a good choice. He discovered prior construction flaws along the way, but always communicated and looked for a reasonable solution. Sam and his team were timely and thorough. If I had any questions, he would always get back to me. We loved the kitchen so much that we decided to remodel the floors, repaint and add badly needed lighting. Our 70's home had no trim, and thanks to his suggestions, and without going overboard, the trim around the windows and doors really made a difference. It was quite a project, and Sam and his team made sure we could still function comfortably during the process. We highly recommend Sam and his team!

I have used California Kitchen Galleries miltiple times to renovate income properties, including Kitchens, bathrooms and general construction. The work has always been outstanding and on time, and Sam Ramti is responsive, polite, professional and very fair. His team is always on time and polite and I have never had an issue with the work quality or timing. Our overall experience with California Kitchen Gallery was an amazing journey. We practically had a complete remodel of our home, first being our kitchen, guest bathroom, new flooring in all rooms, recess lighting in all rooms, stairs, and painting in each room. I tell you if we could have moved out and moved back in, we would of, so this process could go faster and smoother. However, though many hiccups and unforeseen issues we encountered, Sam was willing to work with us to the end. As a matter of fact, this job was completed at the end of May, 2015, he is still working with us to ensure that this project is complete and that we are satisfied. Sam saved us a ton of money in this complete remodel. We are overall happy with our new remodeled home, in particular our fabulous kitchen and solid wood steps. We are glad we decided to use California Kitchen Gallery. Cheers to Sam and the California Kitchen Gallery!!

After receiving approximately 10 different quotes on a kitchen remodel, we decided to go with CKG. Now that the project is finished, I am absolutely positive we made the right decision and here's why: 1) Sam's (the owner) quote came in about 3.5K less than the next closest. 2) We needed this project finished before Thanksgiving (3 week window). CKG finished with 5 days to spare. 3) My wife and I made a few last second changes in design and Sam accommodated without delay or extra charge. After buying our first house within the last year, we have seen our fair share of poor service and quality of work. CKG was our best overall contractor experience since close of escrow. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.
