Cherry Tree Design

I'm really pleased with my Shoji doors from Cherry Tree Design. For my walk-in-closet, I wanted graceful, simple looking doors, and Shoji doors turned out to be just the right thing. Virginia was extremely patient and helpful to answer my questions and to help me get the custom sizing measurements and other details right (finger pull locations, bottom track thickness, and hanging hardware). The doors came exactly as ordered and in mint condition. The quality and finish are excellent. They look great with my bathroom. See the photo I attached.

We ordered a standard Shoji Door in cherry from Cherry Tree Design. We enclosed a dining room that already had three walls by adding a header and sliding shoji screens to make the fourth "wall". Very high quality, great shipping, great customer service. Has performed perfectly and really enhanced our living area with its beauty. Highly recommend, they were by far the most reasonably priced for the quality we got.

Very pleased with every aspect of working with Cherry Tree Design! The quality of the product -- wood, glass and sliding features -- exceeded our expectations in its attractiveness and robustness and the doors fit the mid-century mood of the home. The price was as expected (and reasonable) and delivery was on time.

We ordered shoji screens from Cherry Tree Design for a 4 panel closet opening and am very happy with them. Since we were doing new construction, we were able to work with their stock sizes and the cherry finish matched the cherry trim my builder used very well. We liked them so much that we also ordered a couple of interior hinged doors which are great too, though these doors remain open almost all the time, so I can't asses to durability with constant use or wear and tear. The screens for the closet have been fuss free. Bev at Cherry Tree Design was great to deal with and we are very happy with the quality. The screens came packed very well, though at one point in the shipping process, a fork lift took a swipe at one crate and damaged one of the screens. We documented the damage upon arrival and Cherry Tree Design was able to sent a repair "kit" of parts that fixed the damage to the screen and mullions that my builder was able to do easily. Good customer service and problem resolution in this case and luckily we were able to repair it perfectly on site and not have a new one made and shipped.

Short version: excellent customer service and product quality. Longer version: in 2012, we had ordered a set of sliding doors with a custom pattern, and spent a fair amount of time getting the details worked out so that everything is just right (including things like exact details of how the rails would attach in our not-entirely-standard setup, what was required, what things would (or could) look like from various angles, and so forth). Cherry Tree Design folks were always very responsive and helpful, explained everything in depth, provided technical drawings, commented on my own technical drawings, sent us samples of materials, and overall did a great job. The doors themselves were very well made, look great, slide smoothly -- we're still very happy with them a few years later.

We purchased four Shoji doors from Cherry Tree Design when they were offering discounts on factory seconds, one natural and three in black. We purchased one track system and constructed others. I very much like the Shoji doors and Bev was very helpful about advising what would work. Everything was well packaged for the freight shipment.

Cherry Tree designed a set of screens to create an as needed bedroom...the craftsmanship and design exceeded my expectations and I am very pleased with the results. Would definitely recommend!

Cherry Tree Design provided superior craftsmanship, sales service, and packaging for shipment of their beautiful screens. The screens were just what we had hoped for and of the best quality. Our contact discussed several options with us to help us decide what would be best for our unique situation, was able to provide specific answers to questions and was unfailingly courteous. Our contractor would have liked more specific information about installation regarding factors we had not thought to ask about, and we recommend that customers with contractors have them contact the company directly.

The Shoji Doors are beautiful. My wife wanted them in front of our new patio doors that Renewal by Anderson installed. They had to be added into their design and then installed after being received. They are an excellent addition to our home.

Cherry Tree Design made a sliding shoji door for me, which separates my dressing room and bathroom from the bedroom. They were well priced. The choices were interesting and abundant. The quality is incredible, and it looks lovely in my home. My local contractor had no problem following their directions for the installation. It was during the snowiest part of the winter, with mountains of snow where Cherry Tree is located, and snow all along the route. The completed, custom, gorgeous door was delivered in less than two weeks from the order date -- across the country -- from snowed in Bozeman, Montana, to snowy Wash, DC. What a fantastic feat! They were better priced, and better quality than a local company which was going to take 6 weeks or more and I don't think that their product was made in the USA. What better recommendation could I offer!? Absolutely I recommend Cherry Hill Design!!!!

I've ordered cherry shoji screen sliding doors for two of the closets in my home and they are absolutely gorgeous. They transform the space. I consider the sliding doors I purchased from Cherry Tree Design some of the best money I've spent on home improvements. They are high quality and reasonably priced for the "big wow" design impact they deliver. Cherry Tree Design has always been extremely helpful in answering questions and delivering the product in a timely fashion. I highly recommend them.

8 doors, 3 light fixtures. Materials and Craftmanship of Distictive Quality all... As expected and On time as well! Highly reccommended and will be back for more.
