Jed Paul Cabinetry & Woodwork

Very pleased, he was able to match the style of existing nearby cabinets/woodwork in four separate areas of our home and turned existing "dead space" into more usable drawers and adjustable shelves. Quick turnaround, good price.

I worked with JPC&W on a custom furniture piece. I came to Jed with a design for a table and he made suggestions, helped me pick out materials, brought me stain samples and then completed and delivered the table. It was metal and reclaimed wood with a totally custom dedign. He was a couple days later than we had agreed on delivering the completed work, but it was beautifully made, the finish was just what I wanted and there were no surprises on cost. It was well worth the money I paid to get exactly what I wanted, and 2 days delayed is not terrible for a custom project. Jed was great to work with and went our of his way to make sure my needs were met. Only reason not 5 stars is the delivery of the table was delayed.

We hired Jed for two small projects - board and batten chair rail height wainscoting in my sons's bedroom and wall to wall built in bookshelves with a window seat in our dining room. Jed's meticulous detail oriented work, communication skills, consideration for our family during the projects, and commitment to keeping his work under budget and within the time limits has made us fans for life. We'll never hire anyone else and we just wait for his schedule to open up when we need new work done. Jed! Come build our mantle!

If we don't complain or post reviews about contractors, we'll always have people that find ways to cheat us out of our hard earned money. This guy is one of those guys. His website looks professional but don't be fooled!!! First off he's not in Dallas but in Austin. He delivered my cabinets on a piece of crap open bed trailer which needless to say the cabinets had damages from the long trip. Who wants expensive cabinets delivered this way? Upon closer inspection I noticed the cabinets weren't even sanded or primed before painted and some areas were not painted at all! I had drawers that were wider than the others on the same cabinet. And I have no idea why but every single drawer closer and door hinge only had one screw instead of the required two. The good news is he only got away with 60% of the payment. I'll use the other 40% to pay for the repairs and repaint. Just really disappointed I got suckered.
